Yes, it's a little bit of a cop-out, but I don't own a bow and arrow, and I didn't feel like lighting a dress on fire.

An ad for the sweet and juicy Wonderful cultivar of pomegranates grown by POM Wonderful, in the sunny San Joaquin Valley of Central California.
Assignment 1. I really love the results when we do a bit of design work, and so I am going to reprise one of my favorites from week 18, the magazine ad. Invent a product, or use a real one, but create an ad as you would see it in a magazine. I love this assignment because it can play to all our strengths, the product shooter, the lifestyle enthusiast, and best of all, our secret designers. Your ad will be in an 8.5X11” magazine, please size accordingly for single or double page size. Our European friends may use A4 size. Tag with cwd401.

My lovely three nieces celebrating Hanukkah by lighting their menorahs. Before hand we played dreidle and they gave me all of their green M&Ms; one of my favorite colors.
I tried to get a better angle but a certain relative of mine would not move out of the way, nor let me move the menorahs.

I was power walking round our village, watching this sunset develop, and thinking that I ought to at least carry a point and shoot with me. Then I realised I was coming up to my parents house, so I nipped in and borrowed my Dad's D40X!

This is the special firefighter keyhole in the elevator. It's fire related at least.
Hey, it's the best I can do. The smoke detectors in the apartment go off when I -think- about cooking bacon. They are very sensitive.
A local legend that sprang up around the name of St. Romanus ("Romain") (631 – 641 A.D.), the former chancellor of the Merovingian king Clotaire II who was made bishop of Rouen, relates how he delivered the country around Rouen from a monster called Gargouille, having the creature captured by the only volunteer, a condemned man. The gargoyle's grotesque form was said to scare off evil spirits so they were used for protection. Gargoyle on Wikipedia
