Barney with a rather thoughtful, patient look in his eyes as he waited for me to finish taking photos of him! Barney was a little dubious about getting in a tiny, rickety old chair at first but with a bit of encouragement, settled down nicely. It was evening and the light was terrible but luckily Barney's a master at staying perfectly still... he barely moved, unless it was to wag his tail when I spoke to him :) I was less steady, crouching on damp grass, so some were a bit blurred but I liked this one...
This was inspired by a challenge called "Dog 'N' Chair" in the 52 Weeks for Dogs group. Some of my contacts are in the group (I couldn't join as I'm away at uni for large chunks of the year!); I noticed some really lovely photos for that challenge, so when I spotted this nice little chair I couldn't resist!!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and week! Ooh, and randomly, can I just say I love the new "Gallery" thingy Flickr has introduced, I've created one (lol, make that two!) and I'm looking forward to making a few more soon... also, thanks to the people that have added Barney to their galleries!! :)
I'm doing a quick Redbubble calendar to give my parents for Christmas and decided to give this oldie the flypaper texture treatment for it.
For anyone interested, my previous rose photo is now on the Flypaper blog with a recipe and before after.

Paper Curls
Pieces of paper curled and placed on a sheet of glass. Gelled flashes underneath for light and colour and then an additional play in Photoshop to tweak the colours.
Silver glass curls on a caramel glass bead. This is another handmade lampwork glass bead, this time intended for a bracelet. It's quite small really, but I attached a 16mm extension tube to my usual 90mm macro lens to get closer. The base is part of a gift card.

Still busy at the exhibition, til Sunday evening. Also working at the Book Fair at my youngest son's school later today and baking for a fund raising event for my eldest son's school. We have visitors arriving tonight for the weekend. Oh, and my two teenage sons are playing in a basketball tournament too.
I'll catch up as soon as I find time to breathe!
HFF! xoxo
Dead leaves found at the park. This image was taken with the Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Sweet 35.
Macro of some sort of weed. I just thought the "curls" were interesting. Color play done in Color Efex Pro.

Evolved from my photo of a hand-blown glass Husky dog. It's so much fun, as well as amazing, what "special effects" can do to transform an image. Here, we go from a hand-blown glass Husky dog to "Ocean Curl"! Photo of the Husky Dog is in my photostream.
Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you!
This is another of the fabric covered face buttons I bought recently, and the largest of the 3. Having such lovely pink tulips (from the supermarket) I wanted to use them again before they opened up too fully. Actually, to be fair, I like tulips even when their petals start to fall, so there was really no rush. :)
