Cecilia Valdés : l’ange de la colline

Valle de Viñales lies between the low mountain ranges of the Cordillera de Guaniguanico.

Fertile valley floor and impassable conical karst mountains, the "mogotes." Two smaller caves (Cueva de San Miguel and Cueva del Indio) just to the north, and Cuba's largest cave system, the Caverna de Santo Tomás, with a length of 46 km.

Important tobacco farms, Casa del Veguero, where you can learn about tobacco products and how Cuban cigars are rolled.

CUBA Havanna

18 days until the lock down!!!

A black Bullfinch endemic to Cuba and commonly found in woodlands with fruit-bearing trees.

This is another shot of Cuba's national bird, the Cuban Trogon.

They are much more elusive (for me!) to see and photograph than the Tody, for example.

You can see in this image the teal green back feathers.

Shot at a much more reasonable ISO of 5000!!

Thanks for looking, etc.:)
