Very rare in the States. Sportier then a normal M3 but not blown out of proportion.

First light sees the CSL Tadoussac downbound at Point Edward.

CSL's classic 1969-built CSL Tadoussac is heading up bound on the Detroit River after unloading cement clinker in Detroit. She is now heading for Duluth, Minnesota.

BMW 3.0 CSL

The E9 series BMW CS was produced from 1968 to 1975, and was a very competent luxury sports coupe. It gained the most fame in CSL guise, the so-called "Batmobile", which was successful in European touring car competition.
