Like most years, the ticks are bad in the Central Oklahoma Cross Timbers and the fawns are suffering. This one has so many enogorged ticks on one ear that it is drooping down from the weight. The does eat many of the ticks, but don't get them all.
O.K..Not sure about these two images, took them last year, but only edited them today, picked up a method of adding to much Clarity and it seemed to work. Please let me know what you folks think..

Cross
Blood, sweat and tears
These you shed for our fears
I cannot bear to look on your agony
But I also cannot look away
Your spirit is rising
But look at you fighting to stay
I want you to stay
I want you to be with me
But you know more than I
That cannot be so
Tell me you will find me
Then let yourself go
Go back to your maker
Go back to your home
Your visit was brief, precious and lovely
And I will cry until I am as dry as bone
But you have made me finally see
That the shadows lift
And we are never really alone

En la apacible tarde del sabado, con el silencio que te brinda un panteón, estas palomas pitayeras se posaron sobre la cruz pidiendo su fotografía.

Blue-white Dvojička of ZSSK Cargo riding along the valley of the Váh river with a decent, 38-car-long empty train, with the castle of Strečno in the background.
The NEx 497XX trains run between Čierna nad Tisou and Ostrava/Trinec, loaded with iron ore pellets towards Czechia and empty on the way back. The gross weight of the loaded trains often ranges between 2300 and 2800 tons.
Under the High Tatras between Poprad and Štrba, a pushing locomotive is needed for the loaded train to battle the steep inclines.
Throughout their ~405 km journey across Slovakia, these trains pass through 7 tunnels and cross the Váh river 6, and the Hornád river 14 times.
