This is the technique used on fields criss crossed by drainage canals/ditches. A common sight on the small farms that dot North Carolina. Thanks for looking and have a DRY weekend.

This is the brown phase of an arctic fox sub-species known as the cross fox or the blue fox. It comes in a darker phase which has a slight blue overtone, hence that common name. This guy had a den near the fur seals, which I'm sure provided some sustenance. They were quite common around St. Paul.
A rather work-stained D9020 'Nimbus' arriving at Kings Cross in a cloudy spell- hence the image not appearing previously. This is as good as I can get it on photoshop . The stock is XP64 ,. 8th.August 1964.

Cross polarisation
Tonight's experiment is in cross polarisation effects. I've been wanting to try this for a while and it actually worked out to be quite easy.
To do this you need a CD case, and 2 polarising filters and that's about it, quite pretty really.
All my kitchen project photos are in this album:-

In the Ore Mountains near Zinnwald on the Czech side, is located in Dubí the Church of the Assumption (Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie). The cemetery at the church is not as neat and tidy as we know it from Germany. That's why I like to photograph there occasionally.
The cross fox is a partially melanistic colour variant of the red fox (Vulpes vulpes) which has a long dark stripe running down its back, intersecting another stripe to form a cross over the shoulders. It tends to be more abundant in northern regions,[1] and is rarer than the common red form, but is more common than the even darker silver fox.[2] This description is copied from Wikipedia. This guy spent most of his time down in the sage, so this is the only shot I got where he was in the clear.
