People often ask me what the Cross Timbers is. It's a long, narrow ecoregion that runs from East-Central Kansas, through Central Oklahoma and down into Central Texas. Only about 40-miles wide, it separates the big forests of the East from the Southern Plains. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
Hi guys,
I'm proud to show you this MOC I built in Mecabricks and I rendered in Blender !
This creation is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's drawing about a crossed staircase: there are two ramps, one for go upstairs and the other one for go downstairs... the peculiarity is that people going different way will never met! 😂
Then, a little game: can you find this little details?
• a spider,
• a bat,
• Lego® Classic Space logo,
• a binoculars,
• Wally,
• a map,
• a frog
Tell me if you'll find them all!

Saw this hawk sitting on top of this church's cross right before a storm. I caught it out of the corner of my eye and just had to pull over and take a picture. With storm clouds brewing in the background it was a pretty ominous sight. Not sure if I believe in omens, but if there is such a thing this has to be one.
This shot was taken on a lone trip to Sheepstor this weekend. I'm not sure how long this cross has been up there but it is fairly new. The view of Burrator is outstanding.

The Great Cross
Continuing eastward one soon comes under the shadow of the Great Cross. This massive structure, made of stainless steel and rising two hundred and eight feet above the marshes of the Matanzas River, stands as a sentinel over the Mission and a “Beacon of Faith” for all who pass this way.

Several tombstones redone in Photoshop. The one on the right is from the Catholic Cemetery in Savannah, Ga. I took lots of photos there on a trip to Florida back in the 1990's. The other day I saw someone had posted a photo of a Celtic cross tombstone here on Flickr so I dug out this project I had started in Photoshop and finished working on it. I am not sure where I took the one on the left, maybe I'll run across it.
The one in Savannah (on the right) is quite unusual in design, not incorporating traditionally Celtic design elements in it. Instead, it has a very original botanical design, along with the person's first name, Frank, centrally displayed. The base has this inscription which shows an unusual affection for the deceased:
"April 21, 1871 - Dec 22, 1900.
Farewell Frank, farewell brother. Peaceful be thy silent rest.
Slumber sweetly, God knew best when to call thee home to rest."
No mention of a last name on the stone!
When we in the middle of the cross road doesn't mean bad thing. It mean we have choice...that good thing my friend...
Here's a build for day 1 of Vignweek. This is based on the Olympic sport of cross country, some time based horse riding event I saw for the first time today. :P

Despite cloud and blustery conditions, had a great day at RSPB Bempton Cliffs with Hans Davis Sadloafer and Tony Armstrong (midlander123). Northern Gannets nest building and ripping the grass from the cliff tops better than a lawnmower!

An image from a trek across the fields on Daymer. New fencing being added to a field near to my Aunts house and produced a nice abstract.

What a crazy cloud formation as we rolled into the Owens Valley! The memorial and cross in the photo are a random bonus from the universe and add the missing compositional element to better balance the image.

First ever CX for me, did the C-class and then watched the B and A classes. This is first lap of B-Class on this turn around.
Below A-class, you can ride any bike, and it's all about fun.
Now that I don't work Sundays, I want to get along to as many as I can after this taster.
