Some precision cuts were used for the deco row. This is an example. I suggested using some of the leftover floor squares for the deco row. It pulled it together nicely.

On this south wall, the studs cannot be furred to match the concrete because there is a doorjamb involved. So out come the mason grinder and breaker-bar.

This tile setter is awesome. That's why he was chosen for this job. I don't see how he could start from the outside to the corner. I would have matched the grout lines from the corner and worked my way out. Oh well, I guess that's why he's doing the work and not me.

This is the type of fitting I used to do most of the replumb for the Tankless Hot Water Heater. They really are fantastic for copper or cpvc - just push onto the end of the pipe (be sure you have full insertion - sometimes marking the correct depth on the pipe is helpful) and it "bites" right away. No glue or solder required. Very hard (like impossible) to remove unless you have the removal tool.
