A good start of the week..
They began with circle time reviewing what they learned last week. They had great fun helping the community by being Transport Managers, road construction engineers and some as drivers.
They enjoyed learning how to write. Numeracy of today was focused with Pizza Maths and finally feeding the hungry penguin with number fish.
They also sorted colors with pom pom and sang a song on shapes, made a Taxi for Arts and Craft and phonic p for penguin. Their fine motor skills were put to work.
The week started with full swing and awaiting for much more this week.

I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the Annenberg Community Beach House at Santa Monica State Park this morning. The highlight of this beautiful event on the most perfect day imaginable was a visit from a few of our friends from Cirque du Soleil, scheduled to appear here again this summer.
padi fields are common sights in cambodia. as our coach drove up from phnom penh to prey veng, we saw a lot of padi fields. there were a lot of dtiches, big holes, dried cracked patches..... could those be activited mines that left behind their marks and a no longer fertile land?
This plaque commemorates when the City of Minneapolis agreed to gift this lot to the people of our community.

Mark Lauzier, the Assistant City Manager for Tacoma, speaks during a Community Listening Session at the Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood Jan. 21, 2015. Those in attendance had the opportunity to express how additional troop reduction at Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord would impact their businesses and communities. IBM Service Leader, Shirley Warren, led a team of 30+ IBMers and community volunteers in a Readiness Workshop to help students at the Volunteer English Program (VEP) of Chester County, PA write their resumes and help with their interviewing skills. The workshop was scheduled for 4 hours, but could have gone on for another 4. The students were excited, enthusiastic and very thankful. Equally, it was a positive experience for the volunteers most of whom expressed interest to volunteer again.

One of our tenants at Tower Court, Evonne, sent us these lovely photos of their Easter celebrations. They've collected Easter eggs to donate to local children and their families in the community and are hosting an 'Eggstravaganza' with games including a hunt for golden eggs!
We love the strong sense of community at Tower Court! Our tenants are always more than happy to get involved and keen to share their photos with us!
