Padi fields [Cambodia Prey Veng dec 2003]

padi fields are common sights in cambodia. as our coach drove up from phnom penh to prey veng, we saw a lot of padi fields. there were a lot of dtiches, big holes, dried cracked patches..... could those be activited mines that left behind their marks and a no longer fertile land?
