This is similar to the others, but it was taken before I realized what I should do with the shadow. This is a slightly more photo-realistic interpretation using the fuse exposures method in Photomatix.
Tech: two images from a three image HDR series; this is the -2 and the +2 exposures. Taken with a Canon A590 IS running CHDK. DNG files were processed into 16-bit tif files, then stacked and fused in Photomatix. Additional adjustments in PSCS3.

Since the light has been weird these past weeks due to the weather I needed to be more creative to show where the light is, and i thought it was an interesting effect to photograph the sun in clouds in the window reflection. I have multiple communities like my friends and team, but i found that even though i dislike school it is still a large connecting piece between all my communities. It connects to my other project because i mentioned my communities outside of school are more important to me, but i hadn't realized then that school is the reason i am part of these separate communities at all.

I have performed a few more analyses on a dataset of wild bees collected by our association Observatoire des Abeilles (samplings performed by my friend and colleague E. Dufrêne). The data have been collected in a large nature reserve south of Paris.
The most locally abundant species were L. pallens, L. fulvicorne, B. pascuorum, A. mellifera, A. nigroaenea and A. cineraria. The same analysis can be performed on the dataset without these species to reveal more structure in the communities.
The left heatmap shows the abundance of each species on each site, whereas the right heatmap shows only presence/absence data.
