Paint the Moon week 17/52
Theme: Communication
This week's theme is communication. Before texting and email how did people communicate? I haven't written a letter in ages. I rarely send any thing through the post office except bills or product deliveries.

Workmen doing some maintenance on the phone cables in Queens Street. One looked at me with suspicion.

And every day you send me more
It makes it worse is this a plan of yours
To ensure I don't forget
I'd write and tell you that I've burnt them all
But you never send me your address
And I've, I've kept them anyway
So don't ask me if I think it's true
That communication can bring hope to those
Who have gone their separate ways
It hardly touched me when it should have then
But memories are uncertain friends
When recalled by messages

Street candid taken in Glasgow, Scotland. I loved the juxtaposition of the two girls and the mobile telephone store seeing how the art of actual conversation is fast becoming consigned to the history books.
Inside the DNR House north of Elizabeth,IL. I had wanted to explore the inside of this house for years, but it had been secure....till a few weeks back.Unfortunately there was not a lot to see inside, unless you like to look at 4(yes,4!) sets of mattresses and box springs and two smashed "80s console TV's.But this scene upstairs caught my eye with the dark colors and the retro lamp. The house is reaching the point of no return-which should make it a decaying beauty for years....
Never a rap fan,but I did find the Beastie Boys humorous and likeable.Their album "ill communication" was one of their most popular. But my favorite BB song was still the first,"Fight for your right to party"...
