When lack of communication brings people to misunderstanding and tear apart. It is so simple to speak, but also so difficult... Beading is also a therapy sometimes!

Hypocrisy & Communication series
Walking around alone at the crack of dawn oftentimes makes me think about the value of communication.
If we have collective problems (which we do), the only way to find solutions is through engagement and dialogue. A cooperative dialogue involves sitting down, looking back at the events of the past together, and finding some shreds of common ground in the process.
Existing in the world, I come face to face with so many turmoils every single day. As an educationalist, my goal is to not necessarily answer these questions with a definite response and assume that there is some kind of one-size fits all solution. It is my job however to appreciate that the same problem can manifest differently from one human being to the next. To help encourage harmonious relationships between individuals and communities is to provide the gift of communication in a way that everybody has the right to become a problem-solver rather than merely a part of the problem.

"One Person at a Time"
39 days, 324 hours!!!
(digitally underexposed photo)
Benaki Museum, Athens.
Two identical rooms offer a place to explore two sides of a “mirror” — what is real and what is a construct. Yota Argyropoulou enters into a fictional world of emotional experience and invites visitors to follow her into action and inaction, detachment and connection. For eight hours each day and for seven weeks, one room will be her own truth, where time is suspended, a place of privacy “shattered” by the arrival of the real: the visitor in the other room. The glass between them isolates but at the same time invites communication, intimacy, and moments of genuine connection.
To start 2015 off right, we visited Grapevine Canyon and found one of the densest collections of petroglyphs we've seen.
The artwork continued to the top of the cliffs on both sides of the canyon mouth, around the corners on the outside, and well up into the canyon.

Switzerland had the best public transport, the cleanest pavements and was generally very organized. Amazed me they still had phonebooths in use. Haven't seen this in a really long time. Maybe that is why I find this photo interesting. 20 Years ago this would have been a very common sight. Nowadays you'll have to go to Switzerland to see this.
