It is said that on the 21st day of the 12th month of the year 2012, the World as we know it shall end and a new Epoch shall begin.

This is a mixed media handbound journal. The cover of this handmade journal is fully hand-sculpted. The elements on the cover include an Egyptian hieroglyphic print in the background, half covered by a rock-like surface made of epoxy clay. The ‘timepiece’ is an assemblage of clock cogs and parts, rusted hardware, metal sheets, paint and ink, with a crudely rotatable fork-like needle.

The covers are then painted, aged and protected by several coats of Satin Varnish.

Pages : Brown Craft 130gsm paper, 224 pages counted both sides

After 3 days of sunshine and warmer than normal temperatures, it’s clouding up and they are predicting snow tomorrow. I enjoyed it while it lasted! If you look closely, there are several deer grazing in the field.

1st attempt of a low key shot in daylight using a speed light

Big Rock Park, New Brighton Pa.

This old stage coach stop or rather what's left of it is rather small. Buildings back then were small and functional. It looks like the days are numbered for this one. The roof seen here is starting to collapse and some of the walls are falling apart too.

I was amazed that this building was still standing as it was less than a five minute walk from the highway.

Lolomg I have so much to write but I'm sleeping.
