People say bad about this lens but it is sharp than most Nikon lenses I had.
Spotted in Captains Wood, yesterday, I like the combination of the light green on the new leaves and the dark green of the holly.
This is a combination of three 6-photo panoramas of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty taken from Liberty State Park on Saturday, August 29, 2015 (the night of the super moon). The top panorama was taken about 30 minutes before sunset. The setting sun is reflecting off of One World Trade Center. The middle panorama was taken at sunset (which was setting behind me). The bottom panorama was taken about 45 minutes after sunset near the end of the blue hour. This photo includes the Super Moon. If you click on the photo, you can see the Empire State Building (left), the Chrysler Building (left) , and the Brooklyn Bridge (middle).
Many local photographers were out capturing the moon with the Statue of Liberty on this summer evening. Each panorama covers a 90 degree view. The combined photo quite detailed at [11,005 x 8,378].

3175 No. 1 Sideroad was built in 1853, and is a structure with a combination of Regency and Gothic Revival style and a Victorian style addition.
I spent a couple of days in Nottingham this week due to a combination of family commitments and trying to cheer up an old buddy who's currently not quite as mobile as he'd like to be. Anyhow a more than pleasant day was spent revisiting the spots of my youth trying to secure a few pics and hopefully avoiding some of the mistakes I made 40 odd years ago.
This shot catches Freightliner Shed 66556 restarting from just south of Toton Yard and passing the level crossing on Station Road, Long Eaton that once served the station of the same name - that is before it was closed in January 1967 and the station formerly known as Sawley Junction became the "new" Long Eaton station.
The old LMS footbridge is still in situ, and surprisingly being given a repaint which suggests it's going to be around for a while yet, despite the open-lattice face which isn't exactly flavour of the month with Network Rail. The old station used to lie beyond the footbridge although pretty well all signs of it have now been obliterated and it would be hard to tell one previously existed.
Interestingly enough the Shed, working the 12.13 Leeds FLT - Southampton FLT (4O95), had been snapped not too many minutes earlier at Sandiacre just to the north of Toton Yard. The train typically has to wait time before threading the busy complex of lines around Trent Junction and, due to its length, is stopped a mile or so away to avoid fouling the two busy road crossings in Long Eaton. We were able to use this to our advantage and secure the two shots which, given freight was thin on the Erewash Valley that day, was helpful.
Quite a nice cloud formation here so I put on the 16-35 lens and went as wide as it would go - the lady wasn't trying to hide but rather manage her hair that was blowing in the sudden gust of wind - thankfully not a problem I had to deal with.

The interweaving of the Botín Museum on Paseo Pereda has been perfect.
Example of modern architecture, in its broadest sense.
Combination of paper and digital collage.
The face of Poe and the raven's body were originally a paper-and-scissors collage card. I trimmed away the rubber-stamped background in Photoshop and added scraps from Flickr's "The Stockyard' group and textures from "Textures for Layers" on Flickr.

A still photo does no justice to the enchanting display of these birds. A combination of tail rattling, foot stomping, spread wings, puffed-out purple air-sacs, calling - it must be exhausting to do this for hours every day for weeks on end. It is really delightful to watch.
Fall colors and Rio Grande narrow gauge steam. That is a combination that is hard to beat. 487 seen approaching the tank at Cresco with Fall colors ablaze all around. The sight, sounds and smell were incredible.
Some flowers go together so very well, like these pink Tulips with the blue Hyacinths.
Perfect.
All from the shops!

Insects, snails and worms., what a diet! however that combination sustains these beautiful little waders
Often overlooked., they are in fact both colourful and very cute
Like many of us., we get sucked into looking for and photographing the large and spectacular., forgetting the little wonders right under our noses!

Combination of 15 liter tank, nitrox and relaxed diving rules imposed by S.M.Y. Ondina helped me to enjoy one of the best 20 minutes underwater I ever had - everyone in the group surfaced after dive near manta cleaning station, I was only one remaining and enjoyed really close interaction with one black and one white mantas, swimming together with them just less then half meter apart - I was trying to get in front of manta for frontal shot, but it was not letting me, by increasing speed to match mine and to stay close. It was great fun. Typically if many people are underwater simultaneously mantas are really shy and don't want to play, and divers try to keep low profile not to scary off mantas. This time I had luxury to be in the water just by myself for extended period of time, and was allowed by these giants to swim together, not just to sit on the floor.
In addition to that it was fist time I saw black mantas - they are more difficult to photoghraph due to lack of contrast white belly provides, but nether less are very magnificent animals.
This is color version of the photo.
I made this based on a friend's favorite pair of socks. hehe She lives in Portugal and needed for a logo. She makes gift items and will be using this for tags and business cards. This one was a lot of fun to design.
"Pezinhos de Inspiracao" means Little Feet of Inspiration. :) Her socks are adorable. hehe

The Gatekeeper and the heather which is starting to bloom.
A nice combination, just as the A6700 + Tamron is too. Ideal for hiking and not so bulky and heavy as the A7IV + 200-600.
Handheld shot, as mostly in the field.
Combination of smoke, from a brush fire miles away, and clouds gave quite a pre-sunset light show this evening.
Test with a martini glas containing a strawberry and water poored into it, The background is done with a speedlight and orange gel an other speedlight is used to lighten the sublect from above right side.
I think my new favourite subjects are umbrellas :-). So here´s a combination with my old fav "stairs". Taken at my birthday. I took a day off and it was raining all the time :-(. But it was wonderful day!
..ach ja ich musste am Samstag doch noch fegen... Grüße an Andreas ;-).
Automobile Association (AA) motorcycle combinations like this were once a common sight on British roads. The first AA combos, or Mechanical First Aid Outfits, appeared in 1919 carrying tools, spare parts and field which enabled patrols to carry out full repairs for the first time. They were later renamed Road Service Outfits (RSOs).
The first outfits were Chater Lees and Triumphs, but BSAs soon became standard. M21s, like this, were specially built for side-car use and served with the AA in the 1950s and 1960s. The last motorcycle outfits were replaced by small vans in 1968.
This 1960 BSA M21 combination YUC593 is on display with AA roadside telephone box No. 920 from the A20 road at Hollingbourne, near Maidstone, at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu.
Thor is a grey sabino pinto which is a beautifully unique combination. He looks to me to be a moving painter's canvas. He was born in 2011 and for most of those years he's been a band stallion. During the last year or so he has stepped down and taken the role of lieutenant for the new band stallion Tahlequah. They seem to respect each other and work well as a team.
