I spent the entire Fort Bill - Glasgow portion of the trip out of the window of the rear coach, which enabled me to get shots like this.

These images are from a group of slides I took while climbing Mt. Hood in Oregon sometime around March or April of 1981.

The only thing that was done to the images was the removal of some lint and cropping, as for the almost black sky that is how it looked even though when the images were taken it was around 10 or 11 am. My friend Henry and I started our climb from the Timberline ski lodge. It took about 8 hours to complete the ascent and descent of the Mountain.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb is an exhilarating experience and highly recommended. After several missed attempts, I finally climbed it this week. The views were gorgeous. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to take your own camera to the climb - so here is a shot from the other side. (They do take your pictures and sell them to you at outrageous prices!)

New level of difficulty!

These spiral stairs are so short! My shoe size is 45 EU/ 11.5 US and my whole foot is longer than the stair. It's not a big deal to climb up, because you have the railings and it's always easier to go up, but when you go down and you realize that your feet are huge, then you have to be very careful. It was also good that it wasn't raining.

Hydrangea

Genus

Hydrangea is a genus of 70–75 species of flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia and the Americas. By far the greatest species diversity is in eastern Asia, notably China, Japan, and Korea. Most are shrubs 1 to 3 meters tall, but some are small trees, and others lianas reaching up to 30 m by climbing up trees. They can be either deciduous or evergreen, though the widely cultivated temperate species are all deciduous.

Seen slowly climbing Batwick Hill, while operating a U1 towards the Univeristy of Bath. Articulated buses are a rarity in the United Kingdom (UK), and so the remaining B7LAs in use with First are an absolute treat to catch in service. This is one of the examples that was new to the for use on the Bath Uni work.

First West of England's WX55 HWA (10175) is seen on Bathwick Hill with a U1 towards Bath Uni. WA55HWA was new in September 2005 to First Somerset & Avon for use at Bath's Weston Island depot on "The Orange Bus" 18 service. It is a Volvo B7LA/Wright Eclipse Fusion and wears an all over livery for use on the Bath Unibus network.

This day out on the Main South was the 'farewell i30 tour' as we took the car out on one final drive and tank of fuel. After 179,000 km of combined ownership covering east coast Australia, we said farewell to the trusty Hoondai i30 “Harry”.

Ok, its not really a mountain, its name really being Gubalowka Hill, and truthfully our intention was to take the air conditioned funicular to the top. But, the line was so long we just decided to climb the mile to the top on foot. The surrounding mountains were breathtaking and we were glad for the climb to the ridge top because it offered the best views of the peaks and the village below.

When I saw this green vine like plant from a distance I thought for sure it was going to be a snake. The part of the plant climbing the tree was at least 2 feet long and maybee .25 inches thick. a I may post another shot showing it from a distance. This appears to be some kind of climbing cactus or perhaps just an extra pokey climbing vine of some kind. Whatever it is, I regret not getting more macro shots if it.
