Dean leading Fairy Ring, 5.6, on Krack Rock. Lots of climbs were still pretty wet from the previous days rain.
The most prominent feature on the western side of Llanberis Pass.
The walk up the scree is a killer, but its well worth it as the climbs are superb.

DRK at Blairstown in 2009... he likes the climbing wall just fine, but his favorite job is this one.
I wish I had taken more pictures of this to better capture the amount of work involved in climbing up to the refuge at top.
It was so steep, and the ashy ground so loose, and the elevation so high (4800 meters at the refuge) that I was out of breath after ever few steps. We probably only hiked for about a half of a mile, but it was straight uphill and took us one and a half hours.
After doing indoor rock climbing a few times in Sydney, Felicity thought this would be an easy climb but once she got up to the cave she realised she didn't have any safety ropes and was quite scared. I was too tired to help so I took this photo instead. =)
Tollymore National Outdoor Centre is Northern Ireland's National Centre for Mountaineering and Canoeing activities. It is funded and managed by Sport Northern Ireland and is located in Tollymore Forest, on the edge of the Mourne Mountains. This is a group out for a climb.
