This weekend I headed out to Canary Wharf and met up with John & Slawek for sunset.
It wasn’t a very good sunset, as is often the case, but there were some fast moving clouds in the sky that allowed for a long exposure image to be taken and make up for the lack of real colour.
That’s pretty much the highlight of my weekend. Apart from getting a haircut and spending yesterday in work I did pretty much zero else.

Sprinkles of light on a cappuccino August night at Canary Wharf. This shot was taken from around the area of The Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Be careful if you're down there at dusk. The pickpockets come out like midges.

I am in heaven when i am here. this part of town really is sunny much more than the rest of town. it's gorgeous. it makes me love my life and appreciate that i live near sanfran!.. a wondrous city.
take a walk and see the many smiles and faces. youll spot many joggers too going for an afternoon run. and doggies.
the view of the bay bridge is wow.

Today I am continuing with images from my night in NYC with John Mulhearn and Patrick Bianchi.
Our 2nd stop after Flatiron was Tudor City. We were going for light trails for the most part on this trip and I think we would all agree it was not as easy as we thought it would be. John Mulhearn and I had a much easier time when shooting by the Lincoln Tunnel helix, I think it part because the traffic was flowing better and the distance between us and the subject.
I hope you enjoy today's image.
