Today, a night shot of downtown Kansas City, MO. This image was taken from the top of the Liberty Memorial with Union Station in the foreground.
Kansas City refers to two cities and a metropolitan area situated at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers. Kansas City, Missouri, the largest city in Missouri, anchors the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, which has a population of over two million. The last shot from last night's adventure. This one was taken from the Devonport waterfront ~ from there, the view of the downtown area is on a diagonal with the port taking up most of the foreground.
I took this sunset shot from the observation floor at the Torre Latinoamericana in Mexico city last Thanksgiving.
It was a bit challenging to shoot since no tripods are allowed and there was a fence; but I managed to get the lens through the fence and shoot a series of 22 bracketed photos (just one regular and one underexposed) to make 11 HDR images which I merged into this panorama later. Hope you like it!

its a date night tonight; me, the camera, and my city...
I've only lived in Washington a couple of years and once I heard about Kerry Park I wanted to check it out. Well a couple of weeks ago I was in Seattle (I don't go there that often) and I thought today is the day. I got up to Kerry Park about an hour and half before sunset and staked out a spot. It was a little cold but definitely worth the wait. I even saw a DeLorean cruise up when I was waiting for sunset. Roads...where we're going we don't need roads.
