Standing on Liberty Island, one can look back across the Hudson River towards the stunning skyline of Jersey City (left) and Manhattan Island (right). This is a very similar view that offered hope to immigrants to the United States after the Second World War.
Easily the most photogenic city in the USA.

On Friday I went to St Paul’s Cathedral. I don’t go too often, but enjoy it when I do. I’ve also been meaning to go ever since I got my 14mm at the start of the year, but failed to take that camera with me on this trip so will have to do that some other time.
I did take my Sony NEX-7 with me and a couple of ND filters though, so was able to mount the camera on the rail at the top with a Gorillapod and take a nice long exposure using the stacked filters.
The clouds were nice at the start of the day, but had slowed down a lot by the time I took this shot. As a result there isn’t quite as much movement as I wanted there to be, even though the exposure is around 3 minutes 45 seconds.
It was pretty crowded up there, so I appreciate all the visitors who worked their way around me while I stood there seemingly doing nothing.

Marunouchi is bordered on the east by Tokyo Station, one of Japan's busiest railway stations and the terminal of multiple shinkansen lines. The station building on the Marunouchi side is a prominent red brick building, which dates from 1914 and was recently renovated and reopened in its pre-war appearance. Besides travel service it offers a hotel, restaurants and an art gallery.
be found on the lower six floors, while the top two floors (35 and 36) offer nice restaurants with a view over the city.
Opened in spring 2013, Kitte (Japanese for postal stamp) is a shopping and dining complex on the lower floors of the JP Tower next to Tokyo Station. The first four floors feature over 70 stores selling mostly fashion and interior goods, while the top two floors contain restaurants and a rooftop garden with views out over Tokyo Station. The Tokyo Central Post Office is located on the ground floor with its facade preserved from the previous building.

Just tested a new view in Kongsberg during some fog tonight. The town become quite unclear due to the fog. However I think I did catch the adventure light of Kongsberg quite well.

Sometimes we Europeans don't know how lucky we are... we can just leave for a week-end and go to the amzing city of Rome - it's like an open museum... at every corner there is something to be amazed of and history is everywhere in this city.
Taken the day before the Pope resigned.

The City is Upside down!I was listening to music last night and I saw the music bars of the beats created by the music and I was thinking, "hmm where did I see these bars before?Oh, it's the City reflection on the water..like The city's Vibe is sending musical energy!" I decided I'm going to photograph that moment and look at the photo upside down.. I did that and realized that the reflection is really similar to the music bars! I was amazed how an idea like that can flip a photo Upside down.

When I saw a photo few years ago here at AW of the same place... I imagine this landscape to be AMAZING...
And could wish to be there to take the photos, yet not really planed to be there.... Knowing that all is possible... but not really thinking of the possibility.
I thank those who made this possible for me to view.
