More of my Chaos Trolls converting using the River Trolls kit as a base with some minor conversions to make them look more 'Chaos'
Part of a series of photos of my campaign army for 2013.
Here, Udina and his squad of close-combat orientated Chaos Space Marines.
Chaos cycle hire , a very orderly business in Wustrow. A cycling paradise, with miles of coastal paths plus a bus service with a cycle trailer on the majority of journeys.
Forge World makes some lovely Renegade models, but I've found a head swap on the already excellent Cadian model works pretty effectively. These guys are a mix of Cadian and Empire Flagellant, and the Resident Evil 4/Evil Dead-inspired Eviscerator is a Chaos Space Marine arm with the Sentinel close combat weapon instead of a hand.
Como era eso Alf??? EREHW ON!!!!!
I've wanted some Spawn in my army for a while, but struggled to come up with a concept. Much as I wanted them to be mental, I also wanted them to look coherent as a unit.
Eventually I settled on a 'cerberus' concept, to tie in with the 'sin and redemption' vibe my army has going. I paid homage to a couple of my favourite computer games in the process...
The bodies are Fenrisian Wolves, which I cut open just behind the neck so I could bend them outwards. The teeth are small claws from Hormagaunt feet, and the tentacles are rolled from Green Stuff using a tube tool.
I'm quite pleased with how the sculpting turned out, particularly filling in the gaps at the necks with fur, which I was able to make almost seamless on most of the models.
Finally got round to finishing the first squad of Chaos Cultists from Dark Vengence. Good news is 2nd squad under way and should be finished soon.
No fewer than five buses (at least!) fill the Cowes Co-op bus terminus, all on route 1. Yes, even Olympian 4832 (R832 MFR) was on the 1, running duplicates with no blinds!
Dart 311 (HW54 BUO) has decided not to pick anyone up, and reversed in the road to escape the chaos.
Scania OmniCity 1108 (HW58 ASO) leads the bus queue, loading at the bus stop.
"The attack on the junkyard did not go as planned. Violence poured out across the lower cities as two ideals met with horrendous consequence."
Games Workshop plastic Chimera kit With Forge World etched details. Sprayed with humbrol rattle can and weathered using techniques from the IA Modelling Masterclass books.
Blood splatter on the icons is red ink flicked on by pulling a screwdriver through a brush loaded with red ink; graffiti added on top of the matt varnish coat in sharp white pencil crayon and blended in using the mk.1 finger tool!
Circle aprox 40cm dia
Made from pieces of old photos of random things. Took about 6 hours to cut the pieces and to glue them all down randomly just put them all in a box and did a lucky dip with them.

On January, 4 I had a trip to the city of Brest, Belarus, located on the border with Poland. It was unusually warm in the country those days, almost springtime.
On my way from the center of the city to the famous Brest Fortress, which took me about a mile, I saw this. A diagonal divides the picture from the upper right corner to the lower left into the area of chaos and the area of perfect order in terms of geometry and organization. It seems to me the municipal services improved the alley along the main tourist route, leaving the rest of the territory around, including a large city park, wild and unchanged.

P.S. This picture is also a tribute to my Canon 28-135mm IS, which received a new owner today.
