I love the juxtaposition between the geometric patterns on the side walk and the seeming random chaos of the tree branches above.

There is beauty in chaos. But how chaotic can a flower's design be. How many levels of design does one have to jump to see the pattern and order.
This series of works explores the concept of control, and how much control we can actually have over our lives. Heavily influenced by Chaos Theory and the Butterfly Effect, these works explores processes where control is both relinquished and regained, resulting in a final installation piece of a series of metal patination works. Upon each of these pieces, the shattered lines of the horizontal and vertical axis have been etched amongst the patina; chaos and control remain in a constant battle.
