Chaos Warriors unit with Exalted Hero on movement tray

"Industry Chaos" is one of two paintings made in 2008 while the economy was spiraling downward and seemingly out of control. More specifically the impetus was the rising oil and gas prices and the subsequent rising unemployment, foreclosure rates, and an economy that was about to drop off of a cliff. The painting is the unraveling of the US and world economies and following deep recession. This work is still for sale and if you are interested in purchasing go here.

Chaos came in for a health check. He is suffering from a cystitis.

Popped out at lunch with a colleague to capture 'chaos' (52Frames if interested). A very much different chaos than planned filled my frame.

Getting set up, ND1000 filter on, tripod not set up, speed settings at around 0.2 seconds, ISO maxed out at 12800 (ideally I'd have had less dense ND filters, but I only took one with me.

next thing I know this happened.

I've left these pretty much as shot, very raw, very at that moment, camera 100% not set up to take pics. Very much chaos.

Not until I looked at them on my PC it makes me laugh at how things pan out. Why I love taking photos.

I love this photo, but I hate the quality of it. I wasn't as in focus as I wanted to be, and when I kept trying to get a clearer shot of myself it just didn't want to work! I got pretty frustrated, but decided to just go ahead and use what I had, and maybe later on down the road I'll do a reshoot!

Car Traffic on the shoot of the Belgian Feature Film “Adem” (ENG: Oxygen, 2010 - Hans Van Nuffel). This was one of the last pic’s of a something-else-roll I had. I was with 2 extra rolls of the legendary Kodachrome film I reserved specially for this occasion. It was my first time shooting with it and the last year that Kodak was still processing this film. I was pretty excited. Shot everything till got bubbles on my index finger, as usual I thought I had the best shots ever. Send it to Kodak Lausanne to develop it, they so did, but the film got lost on its way back. Long story short: I’ll never be able to say if those pictures were any good. I guess Life decided to show me that memory is the most important on this equation. At the end that’s what photography is about: eternal fragments of memory.
