...I spent 3 months living in NYC in 2000 while interning for a major US investment bank. One of my impressions of New York City was of chaos, activity, excitement and neglect. Nothing seems to have changed much and this picture illustrates it perfectly.
This is Times Square (or part of it at least). Is it impeccable? Is it perfect? Not even close. There is construction in the middle, the manhole is smoking, there is a crane of two putting stuff up, there are lots of traffic cones, taxis are everywhere. The place is noisy, boisterous, dirty, but thrilling, exciting and unique. It is so full of life and speed. It is part of what makes New York City what it is. I like how this shot captures that.

here my newest mini for my Armies on Parade project. Its a conversion from the Nurgle General. I used a head of the chaos lord on manticore and arms of the mounted chaos knights.
The skin is a mixture of hormagant purple and dwarf flesh brushed with eldar flesh. For the armour i used catachan green, elysian green, nurgling green, ogryn camo and underhive ash. "Nice".....come on over to the dark side......
