It all happened so quickly.
Cre'aybo drove me home after my failed attempt at persuading Vaa'san the end was near. I told him to go home to his family. Get them ready. He might find an escape pod and manage to get off the planet before it came.
But I doubt anyone had time to prepare.
I told M'yri'ah to get K'hym and get ready to run.
"But what about supplies?" She asked me, panicking.
"We won't need any." I replied, tying my ammo belt around my chest.
"But...why?"
I turned to look at her. "Before my uncle died, he invested in a high-tech, top-of-the-range pod. One capable of leaving the atmosphere."
"But why can't we just use public emergency pods?" She babbled.
"My uncle's possesses a cloaking device. And emergency supplies. Meaning we can escape undetected and fully stocked up."
She looked up. "But why would we need to be undetected?"
I stepped closer to her. "Every pod that has tried to get out has been shot down by Brainiac's drones. Only one has reportedly broken free of the atmosphere, but even that one was damaged."
"Who was that?" She inquired impatiently.
"The M'orzz's." I said. "Four of them. Though I doubt they'll make it."
We stood in silence for a minute, until M'yri grabbed K'hym and headed for the door.
"Come on then." She said, wiping tears out of her eyes.
We left the building, and as we did, a cloud of smoke overpowered us. It seemed every spot of the city was being destroyed by Brainiac's drones. Fire cascaded down the streets, and over the sound of explosions, came tortured screams.
"Where is this pod?" Cried M'yri as we made our journey across the hills surrounding our house.
"Not far from here!" I shouted back. "It's behind the next hill! If we run it'll only take us minutes to get there!"
We ran on, but stopped as we came in full view of the city.
It was even more disastrous than I thought. This wasn't just an attack, it was slaughter.
"Come on!" I said, holding back the tears. "It's just down there!"
I pointed and we ran almost immediately.
Soon we'll be safe.

Photograph taken at the Chevron building in Houston, Texas, USA. I used my Bower 7.5mm f3.5 fisheye lens at f5.6 to capture this scene. I captured the image using the Live Composite feature of my camera with a base exposure of 0.6 seconds. The exif doesn't contain the the total exposure time but I beleive it was around 30 seconds. The only crop was taking the photograph to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Chaos Grunge Background. Non - tiling. Used the highest setting to retain full color gamut and to avoid compression artifacts. Earthtoned neutral colors allow easy blending with most projects. Each background is the result of layering multiple masks developed for aging/distress effects. High resolution, 300 dpi, 2550 x 3300 variants available. Almost 3 months after their first strike in Moscow, the group of terrorists, now commonly reffered to as the Eastern European Terrorist Organization, is suspected of the explosion in the northern entrance to a U.S occupied air force base located on the western coast of Greece. Nobody was killed or injured, but eyewitnesses described an amazing eruption of fire and debris filling the sky. The fires have now been mostly put out. Part of the Air Force base was still under construction. Further construction will be delayed until the area is secure and no other threats remain. As for the terrorists, they have been suspected of trying to get their hands on a recent shipment from the base, although it had left only the night before the explosion. They may have hacked into one of the computers holding the flight records of the base. Further information to come.

The Squawking, The Flying, The Feathers, The Dive Bombing!!! It was a thrill a minute watching these birds in a complete feeding frenzy over the herring that are currently spawning around Vancouver Island BC
So, I build this massiv Chaos Machine from bits from the Maulerfield, Plasticcard, Christmas bobbles, ...! Maybe its a Decimator, a Maulerfield, a Deamonprince, A greater unclean one,...! Hope you like it.
Following the chaos theory, and applying a program called, Chaoscope www.btinternet.com/~ndesprez/ I've been playing with differents parameters to obtain this picture.
Hum, I'ts very difficult to understand that theory but it's very interesting the applications.
