The disposal of several Tridents over the summer has meant that the university day Red Line PVR is largely being single deck operated this year but has resulted in capacity problems requiring duplication. While the coaches provide good duplication in the AM peak there has yet to be a solution to the problems when the students finish in the afternoon.

Renown 62154 heads full for Garthdee as will the next Red Line 1.

Officially designated 'MTAPC' (Multi-Terrain Amoured Personnel Carrier), the MTAPC was likened to a Bull due to its thickset and muscular appearance; thus the name stuck. It was designed and built by German manufacturer Strauss Kinetisch in 2016 for the purpose of providing Security Forces a cost-effective, fast, and maneuverable Armoured Personnel Carrier. It is now used globally, notably by UNIST. The model pictured is a MTAPC-16 used by UNIST personnel in Urban combat situations, hence the white paint-scheme.

The 'Bull' MTAPC is relatively lightly armed, and can be fitted with either one M2HB Machine Gun or one GMG. It has a capacity of up to ten persons, including a driver and passenger.

Was going to be an entry for the Brickarms Tremendous Technical contest, but I literally finished this as the deadline passed. The cabin was an absolute bitch to do. So many techniques at play that I've never used before. Oh, and the rear door opens out into a ramp for embarkation/disembarkation.

Perhaps this hints at some Modern Conflict related stuff in the near future? :3

But for those whose thinking mind has expanded into heart-mind, it is an encounter brimming over with the flow of vast, open emptiness that is the ground of all. This “no thing,” this “emptiness” is not an absence but a superabundance. It is the fringe of love’s cloak (Matt 9: 20). “Where can I run from your love; where can I flee from your presence. If I climb to the heavens you are there, there too if I lie in Sheol” (Ps 138: 7-8). -Into the Silent Land: A Guide to the Christian Practice of Contemplation by Martin Laird

The main auditorium of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

One of the most famous historic stages in the world, the Bolshoi Theatre was built in 1856 by the Italian architect Alberto Cavos.

A recent six-year long (and estimated 500 million euros) overhaul restored the theatre to its 19th century appearance, removing all Soviet-era aditions and changes.

Some 3,500 architects, historians, art experts, conservators, engineers, riggers, among others, have been striving to replicate the historical structure up to the tiniest detail. The acoustics in the main auditorium, which were destroyed by repair work in the Soviet era, have been brought back to the standards of Cavos's original design. The capacity of the auditorium is 1.740 seats.

The Capacity is a brand new and extra long (21m) Connexxion RNET bus, and is the next months in service on line 310 between Amsterdam Station South WTC and Nieuw Vennep, via Schiphol Airport. This bus have now 5 doors.

A pivotal milestone in railship development, the Storm was among the first series of double-gauge rail vessels designed specifically to form a train.

Previous double-gauge vessels were less structurally complex and operated individually. Since these retronymically-termed “rigid” shoulder-less railships were more constrained in their length, (and therefore their volume) by track geometry, the capacity taken up by their internal engines and fuel storage was particularly burdensome.

The improved efficiency of dedicated locomotives within a double-gauge train permitted any non-motive vessel to allocate more of its capacity to weaponry, often resulting in an immense turret spanning nearly its entire beam. The addition of swiveling shoulders between the trucks and body allowed these vessels to grow to sizes far beyond those of rigids.

The first non-rigid double-gauge vessels saw action in the latter stage of the Great Steam War, but remained effective long into the era of internal combustion.

McGill's sole Alexander Enviro 400, SN59 AWX, has recently been reallocated to Johnstone and service 38. It was working the 1527 ex-Paisley service to Glasgow from Kilbarchan.

The double decker was previously an Alexander Dennis demonstrator which McGill's trialled on routes out of Greenock. McGill's later purchased it from Connex, Jersey and the vehicle became G8960 operating from Greenock, predominately on services between Largs, Greenock, Braehead & Glasgow (901/906/908). In 2014, when Largs/Glasgow services were became branded as ClydeFlyer, G8960 received a repaint into the "white top" livery and ClydeFlyer branding. It worked ClydeFlyer services alongside '64 Euro 6 Citaros until a batch of '66 Euro 6 Citaros arrived at Greenock in November 2016. The vehicle lost the ClydeFlyer branding and traditional gold stripe and received the new route branding for the X7 between Greenock/Linwood & Glasgow. Now it has been realloacted to Johnstone, providing additional capacity on the 38 between Spateston/Kilbarchan & Glasgow following the withdrawal and replacement of the articulated Citaros. It will presumably gain 38 route branding which I believe is coming soon.

In other fleet news, 5500/1/2/3 are now at Barrhead Depot, joining 8442/3 which have recently transferred from Coatbridge.

With it only a month before the S20 schedule commences, a number of airlines are making last minute changes as capacity is adjusted... As demand to the Asia Pacific region has slumped, excess capacity is being spread across other regions to compensate for reduced demand.

Air Canada has unsurprisingly extended temporary cancellations for flights to Mainland China and Hong Kong, so to compensate for reduced demand, the carrier has changed its long-haul schedule for the upcoming S20 schedule due to commence from 29th March 2020 unless stated otherwise.

-Calgary: AC850/851 sees Boeing 787-9s replaced by the following during selected dates... Boeing 787-8s utilised between 30th March 2020 to 31st March 2020, Boeing 777-200LRs between 1st April 2020 to 30th April 2020, Airbus A330-300s between 1st May 2020 to 31st May 2020 and 20th September 2020 to 24th October 2020, and Boeing 777-300ERs between 1st June 2020 to 7th September 2020.

-Ottawa: AC888/889 sees Boeing 767-300ERs replaced by the following during selected dates... Boeing 787-8s utilised between 1st April 2020 to 30th May 2020 and 8th September 2020 to 24th October 2020, and Airbus A330-300s between 31st May 2020 to 7th September 2020.

-Toronto-Pearson: Various aircraft changes affecting numerous flights... Effective 1st May 2020, AC868/859 sees Airbus A330-300s replace Boeing 777-200LRs. AC856/869 originally planned for Boeing 787-9s to operate during the entire S20 schedule, however Boeing 787-8s will operate on selected dates between 31st May 2020 to 7th September 2020 alongside Boeing 787-9s. Effective 1st May 2020, AC848/849 will utilise high-density Boeing 777-300ERs.

The last minute changes sees Boeing 787s reallocated to other destinations as their demand for use in the Asia Pacific region has reduced... In this instance, they will become prominent in Ottawa and Toronto as Boeing 767-300ERs continue to be replaced.

Announced during Air Canada's financial report for the last quarter of 2019 sees the airline further expanding its Airbus A330 fleet, the carrier is already in the process of introducing 5 second-hand Airbus A330-300s, a further 4 will be introduced during 2020 which will arrive from Singapore Airlines.

Currently, Air Canada operates 37 Boeing 787s, which includes 8 Boeing 787-8s and 29 Boeing 787-9s.

Bus Éireann (Dundalk) SE7

Starting this update with Dundalk-based SE7. The 100X got brand new Volvo/Sunsundegui SC7 coaches at the start of this year to upgrade the busy 100X service from older Sunsundegui Sidereals which were in poor condition! The service has continued to grow, and as such higher capacity coaches have deemed to be needed - as such, SE7 has now transferred to provide said higher capacity. As a result, Dundalk have lost SC7 VE7, which appears to have settled in Broadstone.

SE8 is also due to move, with VE8 replacing it.

Intake tower feeding the Deanie power station in Glen Strathfarrar - a rather stark end to what is a beautiful glen!

"Deanie, commissioned towards the end of 1963, was one of the last conventional hydro stations to be built by the Hydro Board.

Deanie is an underground station, capacity 38MW. The Monar dam, the only large arch dam to be built in the UK, is 520ft long and 123ft high. It considerably enlarged Loch Monar. From an intake tower adjacent to the dam, water is led by a tunnel, 29,000ft long and 15ft in diameter, to the underground Deanie power station"

The VW Beetle went on to become world biggest seller at over 21,000,000 units sold, of all types, progressively modified and improved, and with numerous engines throughout the production run.

For 1965 a larger 1300 (1285cc) engine was introduced with 40bhp and an all synchromesh box, a revised front end, greased for life steering joints and slotted wheels. From 1968, two speed wipers, dual circuit brakes with front discs optional and a collapsible steering column.

In 1971 for the first time there were two different Beetles available. the familiar standard Beetle and a new, larger version, that differed from the windscreen forwards. The standard Beetle was now badged as the VW 1300; when equipped with the 1600 engine, it was badged 1300 S. The new, larger Beetle was sold as the 1302/1302 S, offering nearly 43% more luggage capacity, up from 140 litres to 260 litres

For 1972 models had an 11% larger rear window (40 mm ). 1973 models featured significantly enlarged elephant foot taillamps mounted in reshaped rear bumper

2015 was a year Air France will probably want to regret as the company suffered from further financial losses and its relationship with the trade unions having been strained. 2016 has been less stressful and is looking at reducing its losses in the near future.

Air France currently operates 7 daily flights between London Heathrow and its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulles which is normally in the hands of Airbus A320 family aircraft (although the Airbus A318's are the rarest to find although they do appear from time-to-time).

As per Airline Route, with Air France due to take delivery of their first Boeing 787-9's, and it has been revealed that Air France will utilise Boeing 787-9's one of its daily flights between London Heathrow and Paris-Charles de Gaulle being introduced on 6th February 2017. Boeing 787-9's will operate on AF1680/1681 6 days a week with Airbus A320 family aircraft to operate on Wednesdays. Boeing 787-9's are expected to operate until 25th March 2017 when the Summer 2017 schedule takes effect.

Currently, Air France operates a large Airbus A320 family fleet with 119 in service which includes 18 Airbus A318's, 38 Airbus A319's, 43 Airbus A320's, 5 Airbus A321-100's and 15 Airbus A321-200's.
