I found Holly Sleighbells today in Target and decided to do a group shot.
I have from left to right:
Marina Anchors, Mittens Fluff 'N' Stuff, Holly Sleighbells, Candy Broomsticks, Dot Starlight and Bea Spells-a-Lot.
Fun fact: My Bea has two right feet, and as such reminds me of The Raggy Dolls.

Buttons as in lift (or elevator as this was taken in Chicago) buttons on this stunning Art Deco style example. Although submitted in 2015 the picture was taken in September 2014.
My Flickr records show I have now submitted 52 pictures although my written records show only 50 pictures for the 52 in 2014 challenge. Think I'll go with the Flickr records and move onto the 52 in 2015 challenge.
Many thanks to all who have taken the time to view and, most of all, comment on my pictures. I have really enjoyed the challenge and thanks must go to those who set it up in the first place. It has been a challenge but it is good as a photographer to be challenged.
Here's to 2015.
These are vintage buttons that I got from an op shop (thrift shop) here in Canberra yesterday.
They are very old and are a type of Dorset button--they are worked on a ring the same as a Dorset button with buttonwhole stitch around the metal ring but then the design changes. The patterns on them are beautiful
Out traveling but the buttons on hubby's shirt fell in such a nice line that they had to pose for this week's shot.
MacroMondays theme: Rule of Thirds & 3
These are buttons a customer special ordered. She needed more toned down earthier colors. Not my usual colors, but I really like the combinations.
I started a stinky etsy shop because I made too many resin buttons out of bottle caps to keep to myself. :D
These buttons brings back memories. They used to belong to my dad's aunt Signe. Signe lived less than 300 meters away from me when I grew up. She had this box with buttons.
The on in the front in the right photo is extra special. I used to play checkers with Signe. We used buttons to play with. A button like the one in front were used. We used to sit in the kitchen when we played. Sometimes I got chocolate. During the summer I got to pick some apples from her tree to bring home.
Signe died when I were six. I remember wishing there was a pill she could take to come back to life.
This photo belongs to my new serie of memories. I will photograph things / places that evokes memories. I've created the set 'memories' for these photos.

These 6 vintage gold metal military buttons have a mate on a home-made button display card dated 1954 so all I know is that these buttons are from 1954 or earlier. The buttons are stamped with Waterbury Button Co. Conn.
They are 1'' diameter.

I was cleaning our house the other day when I found these. I was so excited! My mom gave these buttons to me in 2001 upon her return from a trip to Prague. They are handmade from clay, and they are very lovely. These buttons are are actually what initially inspired me to start making my own handmade ceramic buttons. Thanks mom!
