For December's Monthly Scavenger Hunt.
It features both a bow and a button, so I think it fits the category. I'm not sure if I look more like a waiter or a snooker player.
These are just too cool! I love them all, and have some plans for many of them already.
Lisa also sent some needles and some medical-themed fabric for the stethoscope covers I make. I love it all, Lisa. Thanks!
This skirt is a knockoff of a skirt that I pinned a year ago - from a site called Blue Caravan. I altered Simplicity Pattern 2211 to make it. My name is Bev and I blog at Flamingo Toes - here's the link to my post!

This is from an ad found in a Fall/Winter 1991 magazine called "Disney World - 20 Years of Magic." It was published by Newsweek. The ad was found on page 30.
Finally found the right buttons to put on the card I made. These images are from a french book on flowers.
I use vintage buttons and a variety of metal decorative wire to create these rings. The buttons, are metal, mother of pearl or plastic.
I want to buy out the stock of these flapper girl buttons. I invision many nights watching films such as Singin' in the Rain, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Cinderella Man for inspiration. From JHB International, available at JoAnn's.
these were a sweet gift! unexpected pleasure. just finished the last one, hmmm...
Buttons are the best. Cadbury is the best!
I spent yesterday morning with Annabel in Hobbycraft and TK Maxx, as always bad influences on each other when it comes to purchasing. I adore Hobbycraft and was keen to pick up some bits and pieces to help fuel my current crochet obsession. So I picked up a tub of buttons in the buttons section, but then (after chasing Thea round and round the yarn aisles) got ambushed by the fimo aisle on the way back to the lift and just couldn't resist a silicone button mould and a multipack of coloured clay. I'm not terribly sure I'm doing it right, and I think it's glaringly obvious which are my amateur creations in this photo, but I'm enjoying playing.
I used some 1950s vintage vocabulary cards and an old Japanese book to make some fun buttons for etsy.
