Take wire - insert thru holes in button - twist closed - glue wires to back of button. You can attach it by sewing or like I do, glue it on and clamp it overnight.

I was 20 years old and living on Staten Island, New York, when the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant outside Harrisburg, PA, suffered a partial core meltdown on March 28, 1979. Had any radioactive releases occurred, they would have reached me in three days given the prevailing winds. I'd been to a couple of demonstrations before then, but my activism began in earnest after TMI (long before that acronym started standing for "Too Much Information").
Could be a Red Pua Lehua ('Ohi'a blossom) or a Calliandra blossom as they both look very similar. This plant has been housed and cared for in the Palm House, Liverpool.

I finally got around to experimenting with printing using antique letterpress letters and block printing inks. I only have the letters B N o T and y so I'm pretty limited with what I can have them say.
I sewed a vintage button right onto the card for some added texture.

Description: Self-Portrait: Signature Style and Identity refers to the custom of wearing buttons as a reflection of political allegiance, societal identity or simply as a souvenir. Take the idea of a self-portrait and design a 1.25" button that will be printed at www.busybeaver.net.
Solution: The design is based off of the only video game I play, Guitar Hero.
Modified from the pants pattern in "Carefree Clothes for Girls." Instead of lace at the bottom, I added a little button tab to slightly cinch the pants at the bottom of the leg.
Focus stack and merge of 76 images. Processed in Helicon Focus, Lightroom 2015.12, and Nik Color Efex 4 (Pro Contrast, Low Key, and Detail Extractor).
I use this camera bag as my purse because bringing along my camera somewhere is more convenient that way. also I broke a camera's lcd screen by hauling it around in the pocket of a purse. :(
anyway, the Neko Case button kept falling off. I used to have a Fox Confessor one too but it fell off and got lost. I finally found another button that I wasn't using and swapped out the backs.
the opposite side of the strap has buttons too. maybe I will show you them another time.
*if you are stacking your buttons please glue these first. When dry, start to glue the elastic.
Apply glue to one end of elastic and stick to bottom button. Allow to dry or get to a point where it won't move around much. Then bring the other end around to form the band and glue on the opposite side.
It is important to let it completely dry!!
Hand Pumper built in 1848 by the L. Button Company of Waterford, NY and delivered by way of the Erie Canal in December of 1848 to Fort Wayne. First operated by the Germania Fire Company. Pulled on site by a dozen or more men and operated in shifts of several minutes in up and down strokes of 60+ per minute. A fascinating piece of actual local history that has been preserved for over 164 years.

Just got the pads in the mail today. I whipped up a little LED test on the breadboard to see how bright the LEDs would be - looks pretty good!
