This little button beast began as a button, inspired by EDM Challenge #328 Draw something with buttons (I'm starting from the wrong end of the list).
To be honest, he's a happy accident.
The button that was made for the DIY Trunk Show. It was made by just juggling around some of the artwork already made for the posters and postcards by the original artist who made the other stuff. Buttons were assembled by the always helpful Busy Beaver.

On June 25, Mayor Frank Scarpitti, along with the City of Markham Cemeteries Board Advisory Group, officially unveiled two plaques recognizing War of 1812 veterans buried in Buttonville Cemetery: Captain John Button and Major Francis Button, after whom the community of Buttonville was named.
