this was an attempt to make a quilt like this one: flickr.com/photos/eggmoney/400373863/ , mine doesn't look like hers which really worried me at first, the buttons were an afterthought in place of quilting stitching and I love them, in the end I'm happy with it
Made from a size 75 button cover and some Amy Butler Lotus fabric. I bent an eye pin so it would fit inside the top part of the covered button and then sandwiched it between the front and the back. It almost perfectly matches a necklace I made awhile ago, yay. I was rushing to get it done (we were going to see The Hulk), but I'd like to do some embroidery on the next one.

Step 4: Press button top down allowing fabric to wrap around it and into the button tool. Use your finger to press all edges of fabric into the back of the button top.
