A jacket from Acne, with a lot of buttons.

I didn't like how the pattern said to put in the zipper so I did what I thought was easier for me.

I ran one of the ends through half of every other selvedge stitch all the way around and then drew it in tight. See my knitting blog for more details.

De botonera "La Negrita" - San Telmo - Buenos Aires, Argentina

I was 20 years old and living on Staten Island, New York, when the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant outside Harrisburg, PA, suffered a partial core meltdown on March 28, 1979. Had any radioactive releases occurred, they would have reached me in three days given the prevailing winds. I'd been to a couple of demonstrations before then, but my activism began in earnest after TMI (long before that acronym started standing for "Too Much Information").

Hand Pumper built in 1848 by the L. Button Company of Waterford, NY and delivered by way of the Erie Canal in December of 1848 to Fort Wayne. First operated by the Germania Fire Company. Pulled on site by a dozen or more men and operated in shifts of several minutes in up and down strokes of 60+ per minute. A fascinating piece of actual local history that has been preserved for over 164 years.

anita's buttons.....panning for gold xxxx

I finally got around to experimenting with printing using antique letterpress letters and block printing inks. I only have the letters B N o T and y so I'm pretty limited with what I can have them say.

I sewed a vintage button right onto the card for some added texture.

Modified from the pants pattern in "Carefree Clothes for Girls." Instead of lace at the bottom, I added a little button tab to slightly cinch the pants at the bottom of the leg.

Focus stack and merge of 76 images. Processed in Helicon Focus, Lightroom 2015.12, and Nik Color Efex 4 (Pro Contrast, Low Key, and Detail Extractor).

This is a simple application of a beautiful Black Glass button embedded into a flatten piece of clay. I did a Black wash to give it depth and covered it in Gloss Clear Glaze. It ha a silver attachment on the back so it can be hung from a Chain, Ribbon or Black Satin Cord.

SIZE: 1&1/4 inches

My buttons smell like new shoes.

Just got the pads in the mail today. I whipped up a little LED test on the breadboard to see how bright the LEDs would be - looks pretty good!
