Adelpha is a genus of brush-footed butterflies found in southern USA and Mexico to South America. They are commonly known as sisters, due to the white markings on their wings, which resemble a nun's habit. This genus is sometimes included with the admiral butterflies (Limenitis).
Thanks for the help with the ID of this butterfly. It was hanging out with the Common Buckeyes and Painted Ladies and is about the same size. I'm in Johnson Co., Kansas, U.S.A.

The butterfly is also called Green-spotted Triangle, Tailed Green Jay, or the Green Triangle. It is a common, nonthreatened species native to India, Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia and Australia.
