Warren Wallace Bush (Apr. 7, 1909-Jan. 16, 1983) graduated from Springfield College in 1933 and from Meadville Theological School in 1941. He was ordained by the North Church in Hingham, Massachusetts, on Nov. 9, 1941, which he served until 1944. He also served churches in Quincy (Wollaston) and Duxbury, Massachusetts [bMS 1446/21]

(Adnkronos) - Striscioni anti Bush hanno accolto il presidente americano alla sua prima uscita in mattinata all'American Academy, dove ha incontrato un gruppo di studenti italiani che hanno vinto una borsa di studio nella Silicon Valley. Sulla facciata dell'Accademia Usa infatti campeggiavano striscioni con su scritto: 'Basta Bush' e il nome del presidente Usa con accanto la raffigurazione di un teschio. Un altro slogan, invece, inneggiava al candidato alle prossime presidenziali Barak Obama: accanto al suo nome il simbolo della pace.

 

This is the Dark Bush Cricket (Pholidoptera griseoaptera). There seemed to be a lot of these around on The Common today. They are one of the last crickets to die off in the autumn.

African Bush Elephant (Loxodonta africana) just before sunset at a pumped waterhole in the Chamabonda Vlei area of Zambezi National Park, Zimbabwe.

Just another shot of this bush. It is in full bloom. Perhaps it is responding to all this humidity we are having. Just before taking this photo, there was a hummer nectaring on it, but by the time I got my camera... he was gone.

 

This Texas native plant is known as: Texas Ranger, Texas Rain Sage, Cenizo, Texas Silverleaf, Ash-bush, Wild Lilac, Purple Sage, Senisa, Cenicilla, Palo Cenizo, Hierba del Cenizo, Leucophyllum frutescens.

Winter wonderland

Bush covered in snow

2 small trees and several bushes outside of Centennial Place. These plants help to produce oxygen and remove CO2 from the environment.

Butterfly Bush - Buddleia - Flowering bush meaning "to heal a broken heart", graces my garden with it's beautiful fragrance and regal purple blooms, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.
