Grows in a big straggly bush with dozens of 2-3 foot long fronds with these flowers at the end. Only bush I've found is between two small fields along the upper end of van ormer way. Has bright red foliage at the base of the bush.

Sent for a Vintage PC swap
My hubby got this for me at a local flea market. It's very sweet of him to indulge my latest addiction to postcards. This was a picture of "Bush Gardens" restaurant in San Francisco.
(For those that know, this was sent to "inelegance" who turned out to be a horrible, crazy flaker. Sigh)
A slightly ruffled bush rat (Rattus fuscipes) checks its surrounds before dashing off after being released.
Andy is one of the few Republicans in the camp. He had a mailbox labeled George Dubbya. Secret Service thought it was hoot and Andy got W to sign it.

Barberry - burgundy variety . Barberry bushes are very thorny. Ideal for planting under the windows of teenagers. Makes the window far less attractive as an entrance and exit route for friends.
