cathy20, All these photos are by Kate’s brother, John Carder Bush, they are all just so, so beautiful I wanted to share them with other Kate fans, so I do hope you like them.
For me Bob Dylan and the Incredible String band started it all by bringing mystery and poetry back into music, and then the Beatles made it popular. But when you chase their tunes you come to the same treasure trove, British Traditional Music that lovingly lets its perfect melodies be mined without asking for the royalties. Even as I'm writing this yet another version of Lavenders Blue in thundering up the singles charts.
I’m posting photos today of three different lupines I found in three different counties this spring. I visited the Marin Headlands, Marin County, on Mother's Day, and noticed lots of shrub lupines, since identified as Silver bush lupine. A project is underway in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area to preserve the federally endangered mission blue butterfly, and Lupinus albifrons plays a critical part. www.sfnps.org/download_product/2429/0

Bush Theatre, London. The Passmore Edwards Library opened in 1895 and operated until 2008 when a new library opened. In 2011 it reopened as the new home of the Bush theatre which had been established in 1972 above the Bush Public House nearby. In 2017 the theatre again reopened after a expansion and refurbishment to the design of Haworth Tompkins Architects.

This is my new diorama project - a park. I've always envied the vast greeneries of my friend Marika and as a birthday present my spouse Juhana bought me a pile of materials and build me two trees from twigs we gathered from the neighbouring forest floor. The tree trunk of the bigger tree was actually a souvenir he brought to me from his hiking trip in Greece. It has a wonderful ancient look to it.
I put the leaves on myself and now all I need is to spread out the grass and find so nice park backdrops. I'm also working on a park bench.

Constructed as Perry Stadium in 1931, this ballpark was renamed Victory Field in 1942. In 1967, it was renamed Bush Stadium, in honor of veteran Indianapolis baseball player "Donie" Bush.
In its many years of operation, the stadium served primarily as the home field of the minor league Indianapolis Indians—though several other teams used the field as well (notably the Negro American League's Indianapolis Clowns, who are arguably best-known for serving as Hank Aaron's springboard to the major leagues).
The movie Eight Men Out was partially filmed here in 1987. Following the Indians' departure in 1996 for a new stadium downtown, Bush was used for several years as a track for midget auto racing.
Since 2000, the stadium has been used for not much of anything. Indiana Landmarks currently has it listed as one of the state's 10 most endangered historic properties.
I saw these shockingly pink plants near my friend's old apartment last year and took a bunch of photos. This is the brightest one.
