An American Kestrel tries to stay warm in the freezing weather

Wishing everybody a sunny weekend...:)

A QUICK UPDATE: The crazy $24.99 deal on my photography bundle (pretty much everything I've ever released on the store) ends tomorrow when it returns to $99. So if you want to grab this price, it's now or never via *store dot stuckincustoms dot com* ! And remember, the FILES will remain available for download for the foreseeable future. It's a pretty huge download for the whole pack, so no need to rush to grab them when you buy. They're hosted at Amazon and will remain active and waiting for you. :)

So what is it? A year or so ago I bundled all of my existing store content (presets, video tutorials, ebooks, etc) into one mega bundle for a ridiculously low price. I've now updated that with my new 2024 presets and for a limited time, in some crazy reverse logic sort of way, lowered the price further! So, for a short time you can get pretty much everything I've ever released on the store for just $24.99... and yes, it's both new preset packs that are now included. One for Lightroom Classic and one for Luminar Neo!

Pika are a real passion for me. These mighty mights of the alpine world fascinate me to no end. They are adorable, tenacious, fast as lightning, tiny, and the hardest little workers I know. They spend all of the summer gathering various tundra grasses, wild flowers and plants to store under the rocks and boulders for their winter survival. They gather these items in particular orders that only they understand. Many of the plants serve as antibacterial protection for the food stashes. I have spent countless hours photographing and enjoying their antics. Many more images to follow.

I don't think I have enough fun, upbeat photos of Bebe. She usually looks bored or uninterested, which is perfect for serious shots. However, she does have a silly side to her that comes out sometimes. She gets especially excited for car rides and will literally shake from excitement for long periods of time before settling down.

This serves no other purpose than as a means of appeasing my boredom.

I hope the snow stops soon.

I went to the fabric store with "She who must be obeyed" which I always enjoy. Fabric stores are amazingly photogenic places. Plenty of shapes, lines, colors and textures to delight the photographers eye. Thanks to "Mom's Crafts and Fabrics" in Delta, Utah for allowing me to wonder at will snapping away.

We're getting ready for another arctic blast this weekend. Wind chill with sub zero temps. Then a snow storm on Sunday. Fun Fun Fun. Life in New England.

Not sure if this outfit is ideal for a snow storm but it works for a little pre-storm shopping. Maybe I should buy a shovel :)
