I've been looking at this sign nearly every day for years and only recently it struck me that the thing is spelled "Theatre," instead of "Theater."

The Shuler Theater was built in 1914. The first production in the Shuler Theater was in 1915. The theater was restored beginning in the 1960s. The Shuler Theater is owned by the City of Raton.
