The cathedral in St. Gall is beautiful and richly decorated with frescos. As one of other numerous visitors to the church, it is almost impossible to capture it in their full glory in a photo. So I stuck to the details that are perhaps often overlooked.
But whenever you are in St. Gallen, make sure to step into the cathedral and admire it in all its glory. And especially the craftsmanship of the builders.

Located 2 hours drive from Udaipur, Sardargarh is one of the magnificent battle forts of Rajasthan with a 300 year history. It is now an all-suite hotel offering a reflection of the history and culture of a bygone era. The fort still retains its medieval underground infrastructure – passage systems, rooms, halls, granaries and stores which are open to guests.

It is considered a Thai tradition to build public places such as temples and Thai Sala (pavilion) in a community. Functioning as a public center, they are used in Buddhist merit-making ceremonies and other social activities. The five grand open sala at Muang Boran were built in a pond used as either a public summer house or religious ceremonial center. Ramayana pavilion (sala of Ramayana) is named after the story of the murals painted inside the sala.

Karaite prayer houses - kenases. Kenasa opposite the entrance to the courtyard, decorated with an arcade of hewn stones, presumably dates from the XIV century. The other, on the right, more modest, appeared at the end of the 18th century. It was probably built by the Karaites who moved from Mangup at this time. Karaites are similar to the Turkic peoples in language, folklore, everyday customs and way of life. However, traditionally they professed Karaism - a religion akin to Judaism
