The structure was covered with white and pink marble from the Candoglia quarry in Val D’Ossola. The Cathedral’s roof is covered in openwork pinnacles and spires crowned with sculptures that overlook the city.

Szék is an island of Hungarian ethnicity in central Transylvania (Romania). The town received its name in the Middle Ages from the local salt mines (szik in the old language means salt).

The Szék community managed to preserve its unique folk traditions, distinctive styles of music, dance, embroidery, and costume through the centuries. Many of the older villagers still wear their traditional costume as they go about their everyday life

While I was happy with my cliche shot of the Manhattan Bridge, I never stop at just one location and always use my feet to navigate, not my zoom, to find the best place to shoot. Traversing different angles and vantage points. As I was crossing the Brooklyn Bridge early morning, it is hard not to want to photograph the nearby Manhattan bridge; however, nothing that came into my frame looked particularly pleasing, there were some shots that were mediocre at best, but it wasn't until I had almost entirely crossed the bridge, and the bridge was lost to my view by the city blocks that now covered my sight line, that I turned back and caught a glimpse of the pile perfectly nestles between a gap between two buildings. The sun was starting to rise and giving a powerful orange glow in the sky that silhouetted the bridge perfectly. It truly paid to get up early and keep looking for new vantage points and different angles, even after I got what I initially came for.

All visitors of Burano remain intrigued by the many colours and the colorful houses that are reflected into the green waters of channels, by the leaning bell tower, by the tranquility and the calmness with which the elderly ladies embroider original Burano lace by their tombolo (or lace pillow), while they are laughing and chatting in squares among them. It seems to be in paradise.

As I strolled along the limestone path that has been bathed by sun and rain for 1,000 years, I felt I entered a world like fantasy that came to life, that took me back in time a thousand years.

The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael over the village of Oreanda was built in 2006 at the foot of Mount Ai-Nikola. As archaeological excavations indicate, an ancient Christian monastery used to be located on this site. The temple was built by the famous Yalta architect Vyacheslav Bondarenko and is surrounded by mountains. When broadcasting the singing of the male church choir, voices repeatedly reflected from the rocks create an unusual acoustic effect. Such a monumental sound can only be achieved in special concert halls.
