DESCRIPTION
Photograph of the Post Office in Keene New Hampshire, located on West Street. The government purchased the General Griffin property in 1907 and the building was erected in 1911. As I step out of the car to this hotel for meeting, I see the peaceful yet romantic setting, I took out the camera & started to shoots.
Then the security guards came along & stop me from taking the photos. I said what , the hotel is a public building, why cannot I take the picture, he said oh this is within the hotel compound & is private property, you are not allow to take any picture.
Moreover, this hotel is hosting National elites & diginities, includes National Leaders from the Central Committee. Well I say that is nothing to do with the rights for me to take the picture.
Then The chief security said, do you know who is the owner of the hotel. I said look that is nothing to do with my rights to take this beautiful scene at this instant.
But they insisted that they are instructed by their owner & management , not allowing anyone including me to take picture here. I then request for the written documents.....
Fortunately, My friend Robert & the protocols arrived, then the security guards have ended the harrassment after the Protocols spoken to them.
My opinion is only in USA & Canada securities have these kind of attitude towards any people whom taking picture in public place.
It is very surprise to me that even in China , the same happen after 911. Therefore one can feel the psycho impact of the after effect of 911.
N.B.
This is a 5 star++ hotel, per night cost for standard room is US$380.00 after 40% discount, I just wonder how the local businesmen & leaders can spend such sum of money.
I can imaging why their don't allow picture to be taken, after knowing the stories.
Then after, I ask Robert what did they told the chief of security office of the Hotel, he said the Chief protocol told them that I am the dignity from the USA. Then they say make sure that there are no picture's of their customer in there!!
What kind of experiences......
The humidity is 95%, my lense is just blur as I look through the view finder.
