DESCRIPTION

Photograph of the Post Office in Keene New Hampshire, located on West Street. The government purchased the General Griffin property in 1907 and the building was erected in 1911. The old William Lamson house, built in 1804, was razed for the project, which required extensive driving of piles to establish a firm foundation. The building is now the John Day Educational Building, used by SAU 29.

Yeah man this was back in '09.

 

I have learned about the building, the "Residences at Anasazi," a/k/a "Anasazi Downtown," as follows:

 

• It took a long time to build: 2007 to 2013.

• Construction stopped in 2008, with the building 85% complete.

• It sat this way for 4+ years before construction resumed.

 

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

 

The openness of the parking lot makes the building easy to see.

Despite winter storms, construction work marches on at the University of Massachusetts Boston campus. Crews continue to work on the roof, the framing, conduit, ductwork and piping in the Integrated Science Complex. The mock Senate chambers begin to take shape at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute.
