Was asked by locate Lexus dealer to reproduce their dealership for a 5th anniversary celebration. Didn't get much $$, but it was a different challenge to build something other than Star Wars. A big shout out to Tim who was a big help with pieces.

Some small builds which I built recently... Mainly stuff I've seen on Instagram and other random things...

---edit---

Vending machine is from Tiago since he's upset that I didn't link him. It was on the other photo.

2018 was a great year for me as a builder:

- my builds are getting better

- I joined Zbudujmy.to! (Polish for Let’sBuild. It!) LUG and met many great people.

- For the first time in my life I showed my work at the Lego exhibition and can't wait to do it again.

Looking forward to 2019. Thank you all for your support!

LEGO is doing their "Build to Give" campaign again this year. Since I'm not very proficient at creating mocs, I always let my minifigs do the building. This year Glinda and Elphaba decided to make a heart in their favorite colors :-)

I haven't had much time to get some work done on some of my serious kits, so I decided to build this little guy, he needs more detail work done, but he's just so cute! :)

Built some cakes for the bakery, unfortunately they were too big to fit in it! Goodness... :D I'm just keeping these for now. Too pretty to disassemble...

February 2020 saw a lot of building in Conil de la Frontera. In 2019 this very nice development of houses was started in a superb location behind the Grand Conil Hotel and just a short stroll down to Playa Fontanilla. At €234,000 they seemed a tad expensive and we were surprised to see the whole development sold out. I am sure they were to be finished by summer of 2020 but I wonder how has Covid 19 affected the build and the occupants. I hope anyone who purchased with a view to renting can afford to hold on until business starts to boom again. Strange times indeed.

Things get quite TECHNIC-al when it comes to building Eiffel Tower!

Well overall 2019 wasn't a bad year as build goes, as I even forgot to add 2 builds here XD One being a Tan version of my 88 and the other a variant on the Obice da 100/17 Mod. 14.

Still real life did kick in at some point and I more or less disappeared it feels here for the time being, I hope this will become less overtime as I have been slowly starting to messing around with LEGO again.

Well here is to the new year and all the awesome builds that may follow~

Another in the "Buildable BrickArms" series, the DShK heavy Russian Machine Gun.

In the 1980s much weird folk roamed the streets of the USA, but some stood out even in that candy-colored time. Those were the heroes and villains known as the Mighty Misfits!

Beakon

Did you ever hear a pecking noise on your roof at night? It might be a giant yellow bird-ish man, known as Beakon! Aspiring to be a signal of hope for men and birds alike, Beakon hops from roof to roof to catch burglars, cats and other scum before they can hurt one more feathery friend!

Which part of him is man and which is bird could not yet be determined, however.

Cabbage Man

One day, Cabbage Man was sick of the food culture he saw around him. Everyone was turning vegetarian! No one, except Cabbage Man, seemed to understand that vegetables are so much more suited for fighting crime than eating them! So he geared up, packed his greens, and went out on the streets, always equipped with the freshest, healthiest food - to throw it at the bad guys!

Sometimes, it was debated whether he should rather be called Lettuce Man, and due to his philosophy of never giving interviews, the matter could never be settled, leaving the newspapers in despair.

Wicked Wingspan

Not your usual crazy scientist with the awesome tech, Wicked Wingspan is not actually able to fly. His suit is just that fancy - and includes invisible stilts (he found at a dumpster one day). Also, his master plan to spray everyone around with bronzer never quite works out, because he can’t seem to figure out how to get it under people’s clothes. But he really believes in it, and one day he will find the actual scientist with the knowledge to help him get it done!

The Moist Menace

Breaking onto the crime fighting scene as a three-eyed fish with dangerous … water guns, I guess? …, The Moist Menace fights crime not out of moral conviction, but because he wants to be the only villain in town! That’s right, the guy is part of the team of heroes only as long as the crazy dude with the flappy wings is history. Everybody knows that for he never tires to claim superiority of his evil creativity over Wicked Wingspan’s. However, no one quite beliefs it or simply doesn’t care. Once, it was rumored that Menace’s secret identity was an actual person, but it seems pretty obvious that he is just a fish with the usual two eyes.

Princess Candypop

Nobody ever looked that sweet when fighting crime! Princess Candypop may strike some as just a usual young woman, but with a piece of her special cherry gummy candy, she develops super human strength and shining purple eyes in an instant! And what better to do with this power than make the world a happier place! Ironically, the crime rate apparently has risen since Princess Candypop appeared on the streets, because many young men yearn for a chance to meet this lovely young lady, even if that means breaking the law.

Here are my 80s-inspired Heroes and Villains for the third round of the figbarfcentral tournament! These figures were a lot of fun to make! Also big thanks to my friend Mr. Grievous for writing part of the story!

From Berlin 1990 to Tijuana 2025, walls come down, walls go up.

I usually post the tablescrap build before the diorama so here's a profile pic for those who've asked for it. All the buffaloes in the diorama were built the same way and just used different colors for variety.

Good luck on building your own!

The centrifuge is complete, more or less. Just need to put in all the garden panels being built by [https://www.flickr.com/photos/inthert] and [https://www.flickr.com/photos/roguebantha]. And build the whole of the rest of the ship, of course...

Build something with the intention of photographing it. After you have photographed it disassemble whatever it is that you created.

CCEE 2016 - Battle of Takodana (part of a collaborative build -

see album for more details) flic.kr/s/aHskEEwjWe

We decided to do another Star Wars themed display at Comic Expo this year, due in part to the recent release of the new Star Wars movie (The Force Awakens), and the fact that we had recently done a large Mos Eisley display for the North Hill Center show. We settled on two collaborative displays - we reused the Mos Eisley display and created a new display of the Battle of Takodana from Force Awakens.

I had not contributed to the Mos Eisley display, but I chose to build the Kylo Ren vs. Rey scene in the forest on Takodana for part of the collab display. I enjoyed building my forest (as always), and it fit together quite well with the rest of the Takodana display, even though I never saw the other parts in person. Unfortunately I was at the hospital having surgery the weekend of the show so I couldn't attend, but I had other people take pics (which I have posted here - sorry some are blurry).

I always wanted to use the 5.1mm Muji/LEGO hole punch. This set was only released in Japan and encouraged people to use the hole punch with LEGO - making any sheet of paper or even fabric legal within a build.

The structures for the dice were built very quickly from the transparent 42445 bar element that I bought from the LEGO store in a whole PAB box.

From there, days of work to work out the papercraft shapes and numbers, hand cutting each one and gluing the numbers down before studding them into the frames.

The past is beneath your feet;

here, you can create the future.

Think wider than your mind,

dream bigger than your world,

and build faster than you sink.

The new journey starts here.

Got this far then I decided I hated it. An unfinished Superhero build.

Few days ago I saw PleaseYesPlease's fantastic VW T1 Single Cab and loved it. I always wanted to build one, but this last weekend got me really motivated when I saw this Volkswide by Robert Design.

I tried to capture the overall shape and with my limited teal parts I like how it turned out. Will definitely modify it more in future, once I got the right parts. Usually all my car build attempts fail, but this one I'll keep :)
