Ponte Vella (Galician, "old bridge", Ponte Romana (Roman bridge), Ponte Maior (high bridge)) is a medieval footbridge built on Roman foundations in Ourense, Spain. It spans the Minho River.

The original bridge across the Minho River was built during the first century rule of Emperor Augustus though other sources state that it was built during the Trajan period. A mention is made of this bridge in the will of Doña Urraca, where it is said that it was repaired with funds provided by Ferdinand III. From the Middle Ages, it has provided access to the city of Ourense for trade and pilgrimage.

This is from my Europe trip in November last year. Walking in London is fun, even in the rain. We walked for many Kilometers. Our last stop was the iconic Tower Bridge. I found a bench that gave nice reflections, well, after splashing some more water on it from the water bottle.

I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, merged them selectively, carefully adjusted the curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive feedback.

Total length - 0.99 mi (1.6 km)

I don't know what it was, but I loved the fog covering the bridge. Nearly every time we were able to capture a glimpse of this historical gem it was covered with fog. I don't know, I suppose I just enjoyed the natural thickness of it all.

The fog added a bit of drama which is something I will happily tolerate in photography. The business of being busy, the business of doing what needs to be done. Everyone on this bridge was in the business of getting something done that day; whether it was work, play, touring, exercising, or otherwise; everyone had business to tend to. Bridge business.

Teston Bridge is a road bridge across the River Medway, between Teston and West Farleigh in Kent, England

The bridge was constructed in the 14th or 15th century and comprises six arches of various heights and widths, the middle three of which span the river.[1]

Three of the arches were rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century and the parapet may also have been rebuilt. The bridge is a Grade I listed building
