This nicely plump Bumblebee was so into its sunflower breakfast that it paid me no mind while I intruded on its morning routine.

SleepyEye delivers left over dove at the door step. Xena has two meals a day, another food delivery is in the afternoon.
The MF4 Pride members had brought down a Zebra during the night and having had their fill left the remains for the cubs.
The cubs were growling at each other and were more worried about protecting their portion from there siblings rather than enjoying the meal.
Photographed on an early morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, Kenya.
Breakfast on board. Sausage, bacon, black pudding, scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato and hash brown, with orange juice and lots of tea and coffee, all served at the table for £8.50
Waiting for breakfast at the Lime Kiln Cafe, Roche Harbor, WA. October is a good time to stay at the marina there - not too crowded. I didn't know the woman, but she had a very nice hat. I almost never take shots of people - I don’t enjoy having my picture taken so am reluctant to photo others. But if they aren’t identifiable, it’s ok, right? :-)

visitor . With the morning sun at breakfast, the butterfly came in through the window. Came in like a fox. Suddenly he enjoyed my cake.
Straight after breakfast Edith went outside to play.
And I know I am really *bending* the prompt here but I so wanted to show the pram I bought for Edith. I am over the moon delighted with it.
And that is an antique SFBJ 236 Paris Bebe doll in the pram too!

this is my favourite camera at the moment. for ages I thought it was called a T-Lova but I've realised I can't read and it's definitely a Nova.

This Greater Blue-eared Starling had the good fortune to be presented with this dead Baboon Spider (Harpactira gigas) as a meal. Minutes earlier, we watched an African Pipit bird (Anthus cinnamomeus) do battle with the spider that resulted in a huge scuffle on the ground (Baboon Spiders live in burrows), feathers and dust flying, and a very agitated bird.
I'm not sure if the spider managed to bite the Pipit bird but it was left with some very ruffled chest feathers and a rather stunned demeanour before it abandoned the meal and eventually flew off. It took the spider a few minutes to die before it was eventually noticed by the Starling.
i know i say this every morning, but today i really mean it.... this breakfast was so NUMMY!
I had a hearty serving of oatmeal topped with freshly cut peaches that were at the perfect ripeness. i love when that happens :) i also made myself a super delicious banana/milk/maple syrup/almond/ice smoothie... thanks Theresa for the recipe, and a small handful of almonds in my super adorable thrifted mug.
for those of you that are skeptical of eating oatmeal, i highly recommend you try it out. i always use milk instead of water and add enough to make it wet not gloppy. always be sure to add salt and a tad bit of sugar. Mmmmm :)
I usually just have a bowl of cereal for breakfast. This morning I fixed scrambled eggs with cheese, hot grits with butter, and a slice of pumpkin bread. Yes, it was yummy!
Love the weekend breakfast......
No hurry...no clock..!!
Home baked bread with goat cheese, jammie......
I may have been half awake when this breakfast was set before me - but I was bright eyed and bushy tailed when I finished it, and ready to go out in search of photo-ops along the Alaskan Highway.
For the 52 in 2020 challenge - No 41: "A meal I have made". Porridge with blueberry sauce, yogurt and homemade granola topping with fresh blueberries. Not that I usually have breakfast laid out on a tray but my usual mode doesn't look well!
FROM breakfast on through all the day
At home among my friends I stay,
But every night I go abroad
Afar into the land of Nod.
All by myself I have to go, 5
With none to tell me what to do—
All alone beside the streams
And up the mountain-sides of dreams.
The strangest things are there for me,
Both things to eat and things to see, 10
And many frightening sights abroad
Till morning in the land of Nod.
Try as I like to find the way,
I never can get back by day,
Nor can remember plain and clear 15
The curious music that I hear.
Robert Louis Stevenson, "The Land Of Nod". 1913.
