Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., right, defending his title at the Kissimmee Civic Center. For some reason, I always get better shots of his opponents landing shots. Unfortunately for Mr. Cecillio Santos here, Wilfredo pummeled him so badly that his face looked like rare filet by the start of the 2nd round... Vazquez recorded another KO before the end of the 2nd round.

Thirteen professional boxing bouts and the debut of four of Wales’ top talents had set the scene for Saturday 23rd July at Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre. Sanigar Events had once again put on a stacked bill of bouts with a number of Wales’ best prospects and biggest names right now.
We had Swansea boys Sonny Lee and Kristian Touze make their professional debut, along with Treharris’s Gavin Gwynne.
Boxing Media UK sat and witnessed some fine performances and some even finer wins.

An action packed show full of some of Britain’s top fighters was set to unfold on Saturday 16th July. Myself; Kailem Sims; of Boxing Media UK sat ringside at the Cardiff Ice Arena and watched carefully at a barrage of exciting bouts which took place in a packed arena at Cardiff Bay.
Clydach Vale’s very own Liam ‘Dully’ Williams headlined the show against his bitter domestic rival Gary Corcoran in the first defence of his British and Commonwealth Super-Welterweight Titles.
Pound-for-Pound megastar Guillermo Rigondeaux came to the UK to fight on our shores for the first time as he took on Liverpool’s James ‘Jazza’ Dickens for the WBA Super-Bantamweight World Championship.
We also got to see Manchester Lightweight hotshot Terry ‘Turbo’ Flanagan come up against the veteran 135 pounder Mzonke Fana. A wide selection of boxing matches which did not let us down
