My first photo using the 17-40L I bought myself for Christmas... I've just been looking back through some random snaps from a walk and came across this... the composition may be lacking a wee bit (Ha!) but I hope you all like the scene regardless...
The Main Bout of the boxing event (August 7th). Tiger Jack Fox of Spokane (left) versus Leo (the Lion) Turner (right), also of Spokane. The two were supposed to fight for ten rounds, but Fox emerged the clear victor by round two.
Una carissima amica inglese, mi ha spiegato che da loro il 26 di dicembre, quello che da noi si festeggia come S. Stefano, si ricorda con piacere il giorno in cui veniva distribuita la scatola con dei regali, ma soprattutto viveri, da parte delle ditte in cui si lavorava. Usanza tra l'altro in voga anche da noi negli anni '80. Se non erro però, le date di consegna erano prima delle ferie natalizie o per la befana.
