Bridgnorth signal box located on platform 1 at Bridgnorth railway station on the Severn Valley Railway. Tuesday 29th May 2012
Bridgnorth signal box is a Great Western Railway Company type 28b design fitted with a 30 lever Great Western Railway Company Vertical Tappet 3-bar frame opened as a non block post by the Severn Valley Railway in 1970. The signal box was built on the site of the previous signal box using a top moved from Pensnett signal box and a lever frame moved from Windmill End Junction signal box. The signal box was upgraded to a block post on 2nd June 1973. It was temporarily closed from 25th September 1977 until 6th August 1978 during which time a temporary block post was located in station masters office
The signal box carries a Great Western Railway Company pattern cast iron nameplate

My first and ever cartridges, Black Box v2.0 (crap) and the best box for C64 ever -- Action Replay Pro MK 7.2 (polish hacked version), got it as .crt image file.
Hand made celtic inspired "enchanted box". The box was stained using watered acrylic paints. Every side including the bottom is adorned with hand burned celtic knots. The top actually has four small celtic knots plus wooden fillagree detail that was glued on and hand embellished with acrylics and topped with a semi-precious stone cabachon (Howlite - I believe). Additional hand made rustic clasps were added to the sides using turquoise howlite and citrine stone chips, cut vine and a single burgandy dyed pearl.
The inside is coated with three coats of gold acrylic paint.

Summer 2012; Karli, Steph, and Anna slept over and we stayed up until ~5am making boxes and eating and talking.
Thales pára nos boxes com problemas no kart. Ele recebeu todas as bandeiras possíveis e impossíveis do kartódromo do Rio Shopping, e nessa hora foi chamado pra trocar de veículo.
This is a music box made by "lady-mate" - that much I know. But what else is it? Lifting the red orb starts the music and also reveals a set of round slots. What could they be for? Cigarettes maybe? Some sort of Scotch accessory? I'm stumped.
Brocklesby station and signal box sseen just before closure of the box in October 2015 just before York ROC took over control of the area.
The box is a curiosity, not only is it sunk into the island platform but its panel was intended as an emergency one that could switch in and out as required. The box was to close and Ulceby would have taken over the immediate area, however Brocklesby Signal Box remained and the panel took its place within the huge box, whose levers were removed and the frame boarded over, but it still remained beneath.
This is The Film Box - it contains photos that were taken from 1934 to 1948 - pre and post World War II.
They were found in a loft stored as film rolls, labelled with locations and dates, in a box.
The people in the photos are not known.
I will be adding new scans over the coming weeks as I work through the collection.
I took Jarrah to my daughter's house for a play with her kitty Ned.
As you can see the box has been well used by Lisa's cats who all love boxes.
Two of Big Rock Amusements ticket boxes racked on a trailer. I was helping to set up a booth for work. Since my wife had to work I stayed and snapped a few pictures.
Each year, Gallery Route One in Point Reyes invites over a hundred artists to create unique works of art using a wooden box.
Here are the inspiring artworks they created this year: they range in style from whimsical to poignant and thought-provoking. These photos were taken on closing day, when the gallery organized a live auction for each of this year’s 150 boxes. The proceeds support the gallery’s exhibits and community programs.
Two of the boxes were created by members of our art community: Howard Rheingold (a.k.a. Dr. Rindbrain) contributed an illuminated box called ‘Magical’, while Geo Monley and Meryl Rubenstein made ‘Les Puzzles.’
Members of ‘Pataphysical Studios came to cheer for their peers -- Dr. Really was the highest bidder for Dr. Rindbrain’s piece, which was thus kept in the family. After the show, we all went to Stellina to celebrate over a nice dinner.

This traditional oblong origami box is similar to easy origami house in the beginning stage of folding sequence. One special folding technique you need to apply is a squah-fold.

A Telephone Box is a bright beacon in an otherwise dark country the lane. I doubt it's been used in a long time. This is probably the most attention it's had, period.
já algum tempo procuro comprar lençõis ou mesmo uma saia para cama box mas não encontro, eu resolvi sentar na máquina e fazer achei ate que ficou bom!
This small Individual Function Switch panel at Immingham East Junction SB controlled the entrance to the single line Light Railway towards Grimsby, and access to the disused Immingham Freight Terminal, about quarter of a mile round the corner from the box.
This location is near to the replacement Immingham East SB site and became known as Queens Road Junction.
About five months after this photo was taken, Immingham East Junction SB was closed with its area of control being remodelled and taken over by a small NX panel in a modular building round the corner.
The short lived replacement Immingham East Junction box itself ceased to be a signalling control location from Christmas Eve 2015 when it was closed and control transferred to the North Lincs Workstation at York ROC, photos of which can be found later in this album.
