Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily. And the theme at Smile on Saturday is money box. And guess what ? I have a collection of piggy banks :-). All my piggy banks are exactly like the one you see in the picture but different sizes. I started this collection 14 years ago, when I had my first son. I’m always putting my coins in my piggy banks and I try not to empty them… My biggest one weights almost 20 pounds !!! It is full of coins but I also put some bills …So who knows how many millions is there in this piggy ? Maybe I’m super rich ! Seriously I doubt it but I must admit that I stoped overspending during the pandemic… Isn’t that awesome ? I’m keeping my money for a family vacation when it will be possible again.

I just hope we will be able to travel again before my sons are adults…

Some of my glass bottles are still in the box, never found a real spot for them yet so thought this was a good frame for Glass Bottles.

The box already is broken, but Vas'ka likes to sit there and sometimes to sharpen his claws.

Mind you, you need a phone card for payment and, ummm, the nearest shop to buy a phone card is......... over 10 km away in Kilchoan! Found this old jewel box in one my cupboards . The patterns and inlays are slowly peeling off but the work is still exquisite.

Took the photo in bright sunlight. on a white background .

The design and pattern on this box is found in many traditional and ancient Indian items.

Music Box vintage style that plays metal disks, very pleasant sound, found in North Carolina.

Last year a horde of small caterpillars quickly destroyed around 50% of a box hedge which Ray had planted and lovingly nurtured.

This year their offspring from the webby structures they built on the leaves of the remaining hedge are hatching out and starting to chomp away at it.

Numerous remedies have failed to tackle them - anyone have any ideas?

Both Sundae and Pearl are especially fond of boxes.

I wonder who gave me this box and what was in it?
