Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily. And the theme at Smile on Saturday is money box. And guess what ? I have a collection of piggy banks :-). All my piggy banks are exactly like the one you see in the picture but different sizes. I started this collection 14 years ago, when I had my first son. I’m always putting my coins in my piggy banks and I try not to empty them… My biggest one weights almost 20 pounds !!! It is full of coins but I also put some bills …So who knows how many millions is there in this piggy ? Maybe I’m super rich ! Seriously I doubt it but I must admit that I stoped overspending during the pandemic… Isn’t that awesome ? I’m keeping my money for a family vacation when it will be possible again.

I just hope we will be able to travel again before my sons are adults…

Crease the paper money just right and get a box with Georges portrait, the center slides out like a match box.

With a small Art Gallery and cafe in the little anexe type place.. if you zoom in the couple outside look like a) they are both about to puke or b) see my camera trained on them and put their hands up to their faces.

I thought I was far enough away not to be intrusive but i didn't notice till I zoomed around my image looking for faults...Church Cove just a little further on..

As mentioned in a few of my previous shared images, I did go for a long outing on Stephen's Day as one could not do that for both Christmas Eve or Day. It was coming down in bucketfuls. This is the way down to the 6th Hole Tee box of the Bunclody Golf Course and unfortunately the River Slaney decided to break her banks and encroach onto the course, including submerging the Tee box.

The rather isolated telephone box at Kilmory. And it still has a telephone inside it. Mind you, you need a phone card for payment and, ummm, the nearest shop to buy a phone card is......... over 10 km away in Kilchoan! But it is a lovely peaceful part of the world........where, actually you aren't disturbed by the sound of a ringing phone

Last year a horde of small caterpillars quickly destroyed around 50% of a box hedge which Ray had planted and lovingly nurtured.

This year their offspring from the webby structures they built on the leaves of the remaining hedge are hatching out and starting to chomp away at it.

Numerous remedies have failed to tackle them - anyone have any ideas?
