Cubic Box. Model by Jose Meeusen. Single piece of Art du Pliage Oristar Kraft (one of my favorite papers, (available from Origami-Shop). Found in _Origami from Around the World_ by Vincent Palacios.
I love the simplicity of this fold.
This box is to protect index cards from humidity. I used to keep all index cards stock on my desktop. But soon I found the index cards get warped by the humidity.
I found this box at 100 yen shop. It is originaly for Bunko Books (pocket edition paperback) and/or Manga.
Una carissima amica inglese, mi ha spiegato che da loro il 26 di dicembre, quello che da noi si festeggia come S. Stefano, si ricorda con piacere il giorno in cui veniva distribuita la scatola con dei regali, ma soprattutto viveri, da parte delle ditte in cui si lavorava. Usanza tra l'altro in voga anche da noi negli anni '80. Se non erro però, le date di consegna erano prima delle ferie natalizie o per la befana.

The logo is quite distracting. If you put it next to your TV and watch something in a dark room, it's extremely distracting. Thankfully you can shove it out of sight since it uses RF for the remote (which is what I've done with mine), but it's a bit annoying since it's kinda cool to look at and it would be nice to keep it out and on display.
This photo shows the Boxee Box switched on - if you put it into sleep mode it dims the logo a bit, and when it's switched off completely, the logo is also switched off.
I managed to fit the majority of my containers in this box. Most of my larger models are in the white containers with pieces.
Finally got this one done!!! This is for my sister's birthday. She collects bears (has all kinds except live ones and I wouldn't be surprised if she got one of those too - LOL!) so the collection theme was pretty obvious for me. The problem with the boxes is the individual boxes are pretty small so I really had to search for small enough items.

During our visit to Maryland, my wife and I joined family at Surreybrooke Gardens. An interesting decorative box in one of the gardens.
There's a good reason for the crop in this shot, there's a very unsightly portacabin right in front of Arnside box! I suppose the steel gabions and concrete fencing don't help either, but not quite as intrusive as the unsightly grey monstrosity. Wednesday 4.9.13
The box moth, seen here in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, is an invasive species whose caterpillars devastate box hedges and topiary. It was probably introduced in imported plants, and is spreading rapidly throughout southern England.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: I was excited to see this little Chip pillow when we received the "Christmas Miracles Lot" in 2019. This was a group of dolls that our relative, Ray, had rescued from the trash at the local transfer station. Somehow, he even managed to pull various accessories, stashed in a pencil box, out of the compactor. It was in this case that we found a handful of awesome, functional dolly accessories. But neither Colleen nor I was certain what the purpose of this pillow was. Colleen was the one who suggested that perhaps it was sold with a Disney doll. I remembered my Dream Princess Belle and decided to compare it to her original contents. Lo and behold, we had found my poor "Disney Store Bin" Belle a piece of her original belongings! While her outfit would have been more handy, this pillow was still vastly appreciated. Plus, it is super adorable and would be a great prop for photos!

Alston signal box is a North Eastern Railway (NER) type S5 structure that originally stood at Ainderby rebuilt on a new brick base here at Alston in 1991 the box contains a 21-lever McKenzie & Holland frame.
Here 4 wheel battery electric locomotive No 21 'Carlisle' built by Clayton for Metronet Rail/Transport for London, is captured bringing in the ecs for the 10.30 Alston-Slaggyford (11.05) service on the South Tynedale Railway.
The South Tynedale Railway is a preserved 2ft narrow gauge railway and at 875ft is 2nd second highest after the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway.
The line currently runs from Alston (Cumbria) to Slaggyford (Northumberland) which is 5 miles long and runs along the southern section of the trackbed, of the former 13 mile Haltwhistle to Alston Branch Line which was closed by British Rail on the 3rd May 1976.
