Bokeh effect from thousands of lights in the trees along Bellevue Way on March 13, 2021 in Bellevue, Washington, USA

Bee shot from the Smokey Mountains. I really like the bokeh.

One of the flowers I'm trying to name...taken a few days ago while catching the colorful sunrise. HBW

Thats us got two Christmas trees decorated only one more to go but I think we've run out of lights so it'll have to be a trip out to the shops to get more!

This is the beam from a 150mw laser across my living room. Its amazing how much dust is floating in the air.

This laser module is very powerful, you can actually feel heat when the beam is on your hand. It would without doubt cause damage to ones eyes !

Tubas!

On my lunch break/photo hunt today I heard a marching band and followed the music to our central square. It was filled with the orange and black outfitted Oregon State University band playing for the lunch crowd.

Quite pleased with how this came out seeing as how I was holding the camera one handed using manual focus with a (fairly) shlow shlutter shpeed after 2 pints of Leffe Blond.

Shot at the Anchor Bar, Fisherman's Cove. They had so many of these all i could hear in my head screaming was "50MM" and "Bokehlicious". As an exception i found myself using shutter priority, i guess thats a necessity when you are dumb enough not to carry a tripod.

"Good morning, Earth, how was rest last night?"

"... What rest?"

Earth Hour was held last night.

Mum, dad and I dozed off in the living room in the dark... unintentional doze, rather.

As for the neighbours that didn't have their lights off, they were probably playing another 5 rounds of mahjong, decided that they must read the papers at that hour only to catch up on the usual political news, or just had the sudden urge to sew on a loose button.

So much of an urge that it felt like an itch on the back that you can't scratch.

Last one (: I like the bokeh'd background on this one.

Happy Mother's Day!

Still a long way to go

Lensbaby Velvet 56 mm ƒ1.6

Inspired by many bokeh shots I see in flickr I thought of trying this. :)

I know the cup should have been more clearly in focus. This is a trial shot.

Another from our bowling night. It was such a fun place, bowling and barbeque. We went for a family birthday dinner and had a great time. The kiddos did really well with their bumpers and ball slide-in fact my 8 yr old beat me!
